chapter 17 What is this?!

Ashred's POV:

I'm about to leave in 2 days so me and my friends are making the most of it but I haven't seen Jake for days so we just text and call each other to talk.

I'm just spending my time around the house, going out and walking around Vegas, or going to the nearest store.

But today, I want to stay at home.

I'm still lazy to prepare my things so maybe I'll fix it the day before I leave.

I decided to bring Cookie along with me back to Korea.

I just don't want to leave her here. Haha!

Its already 8:30 in the morning when I woke up, but I feel like there is something unexpected that happened later.

I don't know if going to be sad or happy about it but I just want to see what's going to happen later.

When I stood up, I walked to my curtains and pulled the first layer only so the sun will not shine directly in my room.

Then, I headed to my bathroom to freshen up.

I wore my cat fluffy slippers as I went out of my room.

Me and Cookie headed down and I saw grandma making strawberry-banana pancakes so I ended up running down to sit at the counter.

"Oh... Rose; I didn't see you there!" Grandma said in shock so I laughed at her.

"Wait. This is almost finished." She said so I nodded with a smile.

I stood up and fed Cookie for a while then gave her some milk.

Grandma served the pancakes then put some whipped cream on them.

I dig in soon after.

"Hey! Don't rush! You might get choked!" She said and chuckled.

"No, I won't," I said and continued eating as she laughed at me.

I finished eating fast so I drank my almond milk but, my grandma suddenly spoke up.

"Are you ready to go back to Korea?" She asked.

"Not yet, I'll start packing later—" I didn't get to finish my sentence.

"No... I mean, are you, yourself ready to go back to see everything again?" She said and I stayed quiet, thinking deep.

"Y-yeah... I am." I said then grandma nodded with a smile.

I finished my milk and washed my dishes as grandma got to the Library to read her books.

I went to my room and practiced playing the guitar again.

I've already learned the chords as of now but I only know some but I just try to play it.

When I finished playing Photograph, I played White Horse by Taylor swift.

I sang it as I started to remember the days when me and Jungkook are still best friends.

I just smiled the heck out of it sarcastically cause I know I'll see his damn face again.

When I finished playing, I tried other songs until... I got bored.

I didn't want to read a book cause I felt so lazy. So... I ended up writing an entry in my journal.
