- THE NEXT DAY -

Rose's POV:

Today, my mom and my brothers will head back to the Philippines so I have to go and wake up early to send them to the airport.

I stood up and took my bath as usual.

When I got done, I wore my robe then searched for the right clothes.

In the end, I wore this.

I got dressed immediately then fixed my hair, next, put on some light makeup.

After that, I fed Cookie and took my phone from my counter.

I'm still not in touch with my friends for the past few days but really, I need a break from drama cause I'm still having a hard time here.

I haven't eaten a lot too so I'm getting thinner quite thinner. But still, I can't help to remember everything that happened so I cry about it most of the time.

This situation caused me to not leave my room the past few days.

But today, I have to...

I finally left my room and headed downstairs.

My brothers are already there except for my mom.

My grandparents will stay here so I'll be going back home alone.

Another thing... I'll always be alone here cause my grandparents are always out of town or spending most of their time in malls and casinos.

Those places are scattered here in Vegas so yeah... I'll be the boss of the house which is good since I like being alone.

Technically, it's bad... cause I'm living in a big house with no one else to talk to.

Maybe I'll manage it after some time.

Minutes passed, my mom came.

"Let's go?" She asked and we all nodded.

We headed to the van as I helped with their luggage.

I sat at the back of the van with my brothers and just plugged in my earphones.

Since I'm also part Filipino, I continue to listen to some OPM songs.
