Christmas finished and our two main characters find themselves in a dilemma. Sure, they gifted each other something useful: Ana gave him a fancy makeup case, Jose gave her a pocket watch. But it wasn't something extraordinarily awesome. On New Year's Eve, they had dinner with friends.
Kaya sa Valentine's, they planned to step it up kahit na hindi siya official holiday. Sa mga araw na hindi sila magkasama ay nagplano si Ana ng kanyang surprise for him. Jose did the same, and even asked Annie for help. Of course, todo support naman si Annie. She's a fan of the two. Secretly.
For the next few days, naging busy si Ana sa noon time show. Sunud-sunod kasi ang production specials so she had to attend a lot of meetings. Doing so, marami siyang nakausap at unti-unti na niya na-out source ang mga kailangan niya for her surprise. She even met the new station manager and discussed her plans on the 14th. Meron kasing LED lights sa facade ng ETJ Building na pwedeng i-program to create icons and light shows. Kitang-kita rin kasi ito from Ana's condo. She requested if they could flash an image of a star, a singular star for Jose. If only she could name a star after him, she would. Pero this was the next best thing.
They agreed even though it was Valentine's Day and required silang mag-flash ng hearts and holiday symbols. Her sweet gesture for her friend was enough. Dahil extra siya, she also outsourced fireworks when the star's being flashed.
Sa kabilang building naman in Annie's unit, nagpaplano naman sina Jose. He thought of having a pizza and video games party, pero it was too simple. Annie suggested na mag-out-of-the-country sila para naman malayo si Ana sa trabaho. He liked the idea pero may plano na rin kasi silang mag-Singapore later that year. On-sale kasi yung tickets nila, kuripots pa. So back to square one.
Suggestion naman ni Ruben na mag-dinner nalang sila sa isang fancy restaurant na malapit sa condo ng dalaga. Nakwento kasi ni Ana kung gaano niya kagustong kumain sa restaurant na iyon, but because of her busy schedule hindi niya magawang dumaan doon. Agad namang tumawag si Jose para magpa-reserve for two. Nag-isip na rin siya ng ibang pakulo when they go there. Willing naman si Annie na magparenta ng mini limo para sosyal ang entrance nila (kahit walking distance lang naman ang restaurant. And, again, fan si Annie ng dalawa.)

Valentine's Day.
Tadtad ng mga pulang puso ang stage ng Funtanghali.*
Coincidentally, tadtad rin ng trabaho ang dalawang bida. Maagang pumasok si Ana para mag-check ng prod numbers and stage direction. May mga bagay pa palang nakaligtaan ng ibang team kaya busy mode na naman ang dalaga. Maaga rin niyang pinapasok ang team ni Jose para mag-proxy sa ilang glam team. After ng show, umuwi agad si Jose para mag-prepare para sa dinner surprise niya for Ana.
Past 5 PM naman ay lumuwag naman na ang schedule ni Ana. May ilang meetings pa kasi siyang in-attend-an after ng show. She also brought the wine na binigay ng mga boss noong Christmas party. Sayang din yun. Agad naman siyang tumakbo sa office ng station manager para i-remind ang surprise niya. Sa kasamaang palad ay nagpadagdag ang executives ng ilang graphics, kaya may posibilidad na hindi mag-flash ang star ni Ana. Determined, she pleaded her case to the station manager.
Meanwhile, Jose has problems of his own. By the time kasi na nakapag-ayos na siya, tinawagan siya ng restaurant. The establishment will be closed for the day. Nataon pang sa araw na iyon ang sanitation inspection. And fully booked rin ang ibang restaurants malapit sa ETJ Buillding.
Plan B it is. Since it's not a surprise anymore, Jose called Ana to let her know about his plan: A simple dinner sa condo ng dalaga. Nag-agree naman ang dalaga and promised to be there by 7.
Samantala, pinagbigyan naman ng station manager ang request na air time ni Ana. But it will be flashed on a specific time. Nagpasalamat naman siya sa manager, and ran as fast as she could patungo sa exit. She was about to ride the elevator when someone called her name. It was the president of the ETJ Broadcasting Network.
