Madaling araw nang umalis ng bahay si Jose sa sobrang pagkaimbyerna niya. Paano ba naman ay kagabi pa nag-iingay ang kapitbahay niya. Nag DIY repair na naman kasi ang mag-asawa, at nasaktuhan pang malapit sa ding ding ng kwarto ni Jose sila nagpupukpukan. Tinawagan naman niya si Ana, and asked if he could sleep in. The woman obliged and even prepared a small meal for him.
"Thanks for letting me stay here for the hundredth time. Promise, hahanap na talaga ako ng bagong apartment." Jose said while munching on some chips.
"I can help you with that. Gusto mo bukas, free naman ako. But in the meantime, dito ka muna matulog."
"Sige pero after nalang ng event. May gig kasi ako sa isang fashion show. Do you wanna come?"
"Of course, Pogi!" Ana said in excitement. "You know what? You kinda remind me of Paul."
"Who?"
"He's a friend of mine, dating producer ng FunTanghali. He's coming here sa Pilipinas next week." she explained.
"Next week rin yung musical na papanoorin natin, right?" pag-segue naman ni Jose. "Baka may gagawin kayo ni Paul sa araw na yun, do you want me to cancel?"
"No! We're watching Sweeny Todd together, okay?" Ana assured.
The next morning, maagang umalis si Jose to prepare for the fashion show. Hinayaan niya munang matulog si Ana dahil alam niyang pagod pa ito. Tanghali na nang magising si Ana; she woke up to the buzzing sound of her phone. The director was trying to contact her, and left a bunch of messages. Realizing na kailangan siya sa studio, she lazily prepared herself for work. It was supposed to be a short meeting, pero nagtuluy-tuloy na ang trabaho niya since she was there. Hindi na niya namalayan ang oras, and she forgot about Jose.
He left several messages and missed calls to Ana, but she wasn't answering. He anxiously waited for her to be there hanggang sa matapos na ang show. During pack up na nakasagot si Ana; she apologized for not being there because of work. Naintindihan naman ito ni Jose.
The week went by, at kapansin-pansin ang pagka-distant ni Ana kay Jose. He got used to Ana taking him out for lunch or coffee, or going to the mall after work. Pero ngayon ay madalang nalang niya itong nakikita around the studio. Like this morning; dumating siya ng studio before anyone else kaya nag-stay muna siya at natulog sa dressing room ni Annie. After an hour, dumating na ang iba niyang mga kasama. Everyone but Ana. Nagtaka naman si Jose dahil usually maagang pumapasok ang producer.
"Saan siya pumunta?" he asked.
"She went to the airport. Sinundo niya si Paul." Annie answered.
"Oh, Paul again..." the makeup artist sighed, "Hindi ko na mabilang kung ilang beses na niyang nabanggit si Paul sa'kin."
"OMG he's great kaya!" full-of-energy na katwiran ni Annie, "He's so down-to-earth, and sobrang galante with his friends!"
"Annie, stop na. May nagseselos na dito oh..." singit naman ni Robin, pointing at Jose who looked a little bothered.
"Hindi ah!" depensa naman ng makeup artist.
Annie patted him sa shoulder and gave him a meaningful look. "You have nothing to worry about, sis!"
Habang nag-aasaran sina Annie at ang glam team sa dressing room ay nabalitaan nila na dumating na si Ana. It caused a small commotion sa hallway because of Ana's companion. Na-curious naman sina Jose kaya lumabas sila.

After the show, nagkaroon ng maliit na salu-salo ang cast and staff ng Funtanghali. Naki-join din ang ibang glam team including Annie's. Bagamat hindi pa niya nakikilala ng husto, natutuwa naman si Jose na makakwentuhan si Paul. Undeniable naman kasi ang charisma niya kaya marami ang nag-rejoice sa pagbisita niya.
