Vanessa's P.O.V.

I woke up with the sunlight shining on my face. I squinted a bit before I looked and saw Joe's arm wrapped around me.

I looked down as saw our bare bodies covered with the sheets. I turned and saw him sleeping.

I smiled as I turned around and cupped his cheek.

His eyes opened slowly before he saw me and smiled.

"Morning, babygirl." he told me.

"Morning, handsome." I replied. He leaned in and kissed me softly. I kissed him back as he hovered over me slightly.

After we pulled away, he sat up.

"How about a shower?" he asked.

"If you help me up. I'm crazy sore." I told him.

"Sure." he said before he helped me out of bed.

He helped me walk to the bathroom before he turned on the shower. He helped me in, following soon after. He basically washed me and everything. He was so gentle with me. It was just like before. I felt how I usually did with him before all the drama that happened.

I missed him so much. I decided to just leave the past in the past and forgive him. He was the only man I ever loved, even if he caused me pain in the past. I trusted him when he said he would be a better man than before. I decided to give him a second chance to do things right between us.

Once we were done taking a shower together, I dried off and freshened up before getting dressed back in my clothes.

He came over as I was brushing my hair and wrapped his arms around me. I sighed at the contact, leaning against him as he pressed a kiss to my forehead.

"Last night was the best night ever." he said.

I smiled as I kissed him. He kissed me back before I felt his hand rub my stomach. As he pried my mouth open with his tongue, he moved his hand lower and lower until it got to my underwear. My hips bucked in anticipation and he smirked into the kiss before reaching inside.

He slid one finger inside me and I moaned into the kiss, reaching my arm up to wrap around his neck. He started going slowly at first, moving his finger at a steady pace.

I moaned into his mouth before he pulled away and kissed my neck. "That's right, baby. Someone is wet for Daddy."

He added another finger and I moaned loudly, my eyes rolling back. I leaned against his shoulder as he picked up the pace.

"Oh, fuck. Joe." I moaned.

"Does that feel good?" he purred in my ear as he added a third finger.

"Oh, god, yes!" I moaned as I gripped his arm.

Joe began moving his fingers fast and I screamed at the pleasure. I felt a sudden jolt of pleasure and I moaned loudly.

"Oh, god, Joe! Right there, yes!" I moaned.

I heard him growl as he continued his delicious assault. Soon, I felt my climax approaching and my breathing increased.

"Oh, god, Joe! I'm gonna-" I moaned.

After almost two minutes, I moaned loudly as my orgasm washed over me. I looked up at him and smiled, wrapping my arms around his neck.

He smiled at me as I caressed his muscles and tattoo. It felt good having him back in my life. Now that that slut and her boy toy are gone, I don't have to worry about this guy being taken from me.

Joe got some clothes on before I heard my phone go off. I looked and saw that it was Alyssa calling me.

"Oh, shit." I said with a smile as Joe chuckled.

I answered it before putting the phone to my ear. "Hello?"

"Where are you? I've been looking for you since 9:00 am. I asked the girls if they saw you anywhere, but they haven't." she replied.

"Um...I'm on the third floor. I had to see someone." I replied.

There was a moment of silence before I heard her laughing. "Come back to the room and tell me the deets. After that, we're going to have breakfast with the girls."

I chuckled lightly. "I'm on my way."

I hung up and looked at Joe. "I have to go. The girls are being a bit paranoid right now."

Joe grabbed my hands and smiled at me.

"Well, before you go, I have to ask you something. Would you like to be my girlfriend again?" he asked.

I knew I wasn't going to regret my answer. "Yes, I'll be your girlfriend again if you'll be my boyfriend again."

Joe kissed my hand. "I'll be your boyfriend again."

I smiled before he pulled me close to him, kissing me softly. I smiled into the kiss before he nodded.

So, that's one out of three Shield members I can trust.

"Go hang out with the girls. I'll see you soon, babygirl." he told me.

"See you, babe." I said as I got my room key and phone before leaving the room.

I took the elevator back to my floor and once I got there, I got to my room and went inside.

When I turned around, I saw Alyssa already dressed in her outfit. She turned to look at me before smirking.

"Oh, God, please don't." I groaned.

"Oh, yes." Alyssa laughed before pulling me to the bed to sit down.

She sat next to me and clasped her hands together. "So, what happened?"

I chuckled before telling her how I forgave Joe and how I spent the night with him, knowing that I could trust him, etc.

When I was done, she smiled.

"So, you and Joe are back together?" she asked.

I nodded my head and she smiled, hugging me. "Well, if you're happy, I'm happy."

"Will you put aside your beef with him? He's my boyfriend again after all." I asked.

"I'll try. But, only for you." she replied.

I smiled before I went to my bag and grabbed a set of clothes for the day. After going into the bathroom and changing, I grabbed my keys.

"Come on, girlie. I'm starving." I told her.

"They're going to meet us there." she explained.

We exited the hotel room before leaving to go have breakfast at a restaurant with Nicole and Brianna.

Things were finally starting to fall back into place.
