First one of these that I'm doing that isn't ship centered. Also thanks to Manimatsu for suggesting that I use Weiss for this one shot. Hope you enjoy it.

Indicates singing

As the shattered moon hung in the dark Remnant night sky. A certain Atleasian girl was staring up at it. Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, had recently return home to her mansion after another concert. Except Weiss found that singing no longer made her happy. She could never sing anything she wrote she was always forced to sing the same bland songs over and over again.

However it wasn't just singing that made her sad, a lot of things did, and the worst of these was that she was lonely. Weiss felt as if she didn't have any friends, well real friends. All the "friends" she did have were ones that her father had hand picked for her. This meant that they were usually stuck up, snobby, and rich. Not really the best friend material.

Sometimes when she felt especially sad she would write letters to herself. It was a good way for her to get her stress and sadness out. In fact before she left she had started another one. She hadn't written much just "Dear Weiss Schnee" and "Sincerely Me."

Sighing Weiss sat down to work on the letter, except nothing was really coming to mind so instead she decided to just think.

I've learned to slam on the brake. Before I even turn the key. Before I make the mistake. Before I lead with the worst of me.

Weiss then scowled as she thought about her father who had given her one of his not so motivational pep talks before she took the stage earlier.

Give them no reason to stare. No slipping up if you slip away.

Weiss groaned to herself and stood up from her desk. She pushed in her desk chair and left her room before walking down one of her mansions long hallways.

So I got nothing to share. No I got nothing to say. Step out step out of the sun if you keep getting burned. Step out step out of the sun because you've learned. Because you've learned. On the outside always looking in will I ever be more then I've always been? Cause I'm tap-tap-tapping on the glass. I'm waving through a window. I try to speak but nobody can hear so I wait around for an answer to appear. While I'm watch-watch-watching people pass. I'm waving through a window. Can anybody see? Is anybody waving back at me?

Weiss soon left her mansion and walked outside to the courtyard. When she looked to her left she could see the tops of the trees in the forest near by. This gave her an idea and she made her way toward them.

We start with stars in our eyes. We start believing that we belong. But every sun doesn't rise. And no one tells you where you went wrong. Step out step out of the sun if you keep getting burned. Step out step out of the sun because you've learned. Because you've learned. On the outside always looking in will I ever be more then I've always been? Cause I'm tap-tap-tapping on the glass. Waving through a window. I try to speak but nobody can hear so I wait around for an answer to appear. While I'm watch-watch-watching people pass. Waving through a window. Can anybody see? Is anybody waving-

Weiss stopped. In front of her was a giant forest full of pine trees all covered with snow. She cast one last look over her shoulder at her mansion before running toward the trees. She ran until her lungs burned and her legs ached.

When you're falling in a forest and there's nobody around. Do you ever really crash or even make a sound? When you're falling in a forest and there's nobody around. Do you ever really crash or even make a sound? When you're falling in a forest and there's nobody around. Do you ever really crash or even make a sound? When you're falling in a forest and there's nobody around. Do you ever really crash or even make a sound? Did I even make a sound? Did I even make a sound? It's like I never made a sound. Will I ever make a sound?

Weiss finally stopped running and looked at the giant pine tree in front of her. Taking a breath she began to climb it.

Is anybody waving back at me? Is anybody waving? Waving? Waving?

When she reached the top of the tree she could see the city of Atlas below. The whole scene was breathtaking really.

Weiss sat down on the tree branch and thought to herself. She didn't know why she was here but it was nice to get out and clear her head. She didn't feel as sad anymore.

At that moment a scrap of paper blew past her face. Weiss grabbed it out of the air and read it. Not much stood out to her except for one sentence:
