"So how are we pulling this off?"
Jamie sighed and thought about it for a moment before speaking. "Well, they gave me two days so the day after tomorrow should be go time." She pointed a finger at Gemma. "You're going to have to make sure that the guys stay on the lot all day. I don't care how you do it but keep them there, especially Tig. I don't want the Nords going after him if they can't pick one of you off."
Gemma nodded. "What about you?"
Jamie sighed again and then grinned at Gemma. "If they can't get to any of you... "
Dawn shook her head as Harmony glared in Jamie's direction. "Oh no! Dad will literally kill all of us if something happens to you."
Jamie shrugged. "It can't be helped. They're going to be looking to me for an answer by then, and I can't be hidden away. That would really look suspicious. Who can shoot?"
Gemma, Dawn, Harmony, Tara, and Freddie held up their hands. Fawn grinned. "Apparently I'm the only pussy around here."
Harmony shook her head and chuckled. "Nah, we just haven't gotten around to teaching you yet. Be patient, grasshopper."
Jamie grinned. "Ok, Harmony, Dawn, and Freddie will be with me. That leaves the rest of you to corral the boys and not let them out of your sight. If I do get grabbed, then and only then do we involve the guys, agreed?" When everyone nodded, she took a deep breath before continuing. "I'm going to tell you now, that before this is over, Wade will probably die." She shrugged as Tara gave her a look. "I'll try not to, but he's not going to like what's coming one bit, and if it comes down between him and me, well... "
Dawn nodded and grinned. "Then you take him down. Understood." They all heard the roar of motorcycles turning into the driveway. "Wow. Can we not go anywhere without them knowing where we are?"
Jamie chuckled and shook her head. "Apparently not. Ok, make sure I have all of your numbers before you leave."
Before anyone could respond, the front door opened and in walked their old men, looking curious. Tig smirked as he walked over to throw an arm around Jamie's waist. "Ok boys, even I know that any time you walk into a room full of women and they all stop talking, there's some serious shit about to go down." He looked around the room before turning to Jamie. "What's going on here, sweetheart?"
Jamie shrugged, avoiding eye contact for as long as possible. "Just getting acquainted, that's all."
Tig nodded. "What time do you have to be at the club?"
Jamie looked at the clock on the wall. "About three hours?"
Tig nodded before turning to the others. "Ok, everyone gets the fuck out." The women laughed as their men escorted them out the door, leaving Tig and Jamie alone in her living room. Tig pulled her closer and nuzzled her neck. "See? This is much cozier."
She squeezed him closer and let her hands run through his unruly curls. "I wouldn't get too comfortable. I still have to shower and change, you know."
Tig chuckled as he suddenly picked her up and threw her over his shoulder and strode down the hall to the bedrooms. "You've heard of the Minutemen, right? Yeah, not gonna take me that long."
Jamie slapped at the leather covering his back. "That's really romantic, Alexander."
He stopped at the foot of her bed and threw her down, watching her bounce as he removed his kutte. "Sorry, baby, but I've been without you too long." He bit his lip as he saw that the skirt she was wearing had ridden up to her thighs. "Damn. I always did love you in skirts." He smirked and wrinkled his nose. "Easy access."
Jamie snorted as he crawled up the bed and over top of her, laying down and trapping her under him as his hands buried themselves in her curls. "I have to admit that I missed this, Alex."
He hummed in agreement as his lips took hers in a heated kiss that left both of them panting when it was over. He looked down at her, a serious expression on his face. "You're not leaving me again, Jamie. I couldn't take it." He shook his head. "I get why you had to, but not again. You're mine and you belong here with me."
She nodded as she traced his cheekbone with one finger. "The only way I'll ever leave you again will be against my will, Alex. I promise." She laid a finger over his lips as she sighed. "Alex, baby... there are some things that I need to tell you before we... "
Tig shook his head, leaning down to give her a kiss before looking into her eyes again. "Will it kill the mood?"
Jamie grinned. "Yeah, maybe."
Tig nodded. "Will it wait?"
Jamie looked into his blue eyes for a moment before nodding and pulling his head down to hers. "Yeah, it'll keep."
Tig nodded and winked at her as he swooped down for another kiss. "Good, because my dick won't."
Jamie laughed as his hands started making quick work of her clothes. "Always the romantic, Alex."

Tig leaned against the door frame to the bathroom, watching Jamie put on her makeup. He knew that there was something heavy weighing on her mind. He could tell by the way that they had made love earlier. She had been frenzied, trying to touch him everywhere at once, as if attempting to memorize him. She'd done the same before she had left the last time, and he had a gut feeling that something was about to happen that would at the very least change things between them.
"We can talk now if you want. You know, about whatever it is that's bothering you."
Jamie shook her head as she applied her lipstick. "Nah, it's ok. It'll wait." She grinned. "You going back to the clubhouse?"
Tig shrugged. "I thought I'd go get some things... stay here tonight. If you don't care."
She paused as she started past him into the bedroom and patted him on the chest. "I'd like that."
