A few days had passed since the battle that engulfed the fleet. They had stopped by at Oasis for the repairs on the ships that didn't sink then they carried on the journey. About a week after their impromptu visit to Oasis, they finally arrived on the continents far east coast. The admiral stood on the upper deck of his flagship, The Salvation. Onward he saw Vitrea, a once prosperous and lovely city that was now engulfed in flame. The pitch black smoke poured out of the city mingling with the dark clouds coming from Ciliar Watch. But that wasn't too unexpected, for years Ciliar Watch had always been centre for strange goings on. By now no one cared as long as it didn't affect them, but he had an hunch that Ciliar Watch may have a part to play in this wildfire rebellion.

Crashing into the walls of the harbour, the landing ships opened up and the half-legion marched through the streets to the besieged castle. Townsfolk were fighting in small pockets against town guards. Half-Legionnaire Hegel charged his fifty guard into some fighting. With shields and spears raised they pushed up to the peasants, "Back up and retreat!" he exclaimed. Since no movements were made they charged in. Shouts and clouds of red burst through the group. Within seconds the tides had changed and what was left of the townsfolk limped away broken. Their shadows followed a few metres back as they scattered into the back alleys.

The half-legion wrapped themselves in a tight circle around the See-er's Tower. Half-Legionnaire Hegel and Admiral Saundra were waiting outside the inner sanctum of the tower. "This place is weird. Everyone is wearing blindfolds yet they still know where everyone is." The Admiral agreed. A monk came through the doors and silently invited them in.

"Greetings my friends." The Great See-er stood up. He readjusted his head piece that orientated around the Great Eye of which gave him ultimate power.

"I am very grateful to you for this act of kindness but I am very sorry to say it has been in vain."

"Excuse me?" Asked Admiral Saundra.

"All this bloodshed in the name of peace, has been sorely unneeded for we are at peace. The guards are the ones resisting." His head cocked to one side and his hands began to twitch.

"I don't understand." Half-Legionnaire Hegel said his eyes widening.

"You just wouldn't." The Great See-er said grabbing hold of the bandage over his eyes. It floated to the ground and revealed a contorted face. Hegel and Saundra drew their swords. What stood before them was the Great See-er but what was left. His eyes were black voids dipping into the pure darkness. Like burn marks fissures of purples and black faults came out of his eyes.

A creature came out from behind the throne. It was about eight feet tall and clothed in black rusting armour. Its formerly blue skin singed black. "Tonight, you shall join the abyss." It raised a spear to the pair.
