Bright and hot the sun burned in the sky. Casting it's harsh light on the barren wasteland of sand that stretched for miles. Two figures stumbled through the dunes. The sand burnt their feet as they weakly stumbled through the Evap Desert. One slipped and tumbled down a dune. He planted straight onto his face. His companion followed and kneeled besides him.

Rolling him over he gasped, "Are you alright?" No response. He slapped his face trying to bring him back. "No not like this. Come on we've been through hell and back, your not dying here."

The pulse stopped. He pressed his forehead into the bodies chest. Saying his goodbyes he shifted some sand over his body and carried on. A few hours of constant walking later and he fell to his knees. Gasping and trying to wet his coarse throat. He grasped for the skin of water on his belt and held it to his lips. Nothing. He breathed confusedly and looked around. A trail of water followed him.

"No no no!" He bellowed to the air. He rolled onto his back. The clouds rolled across the sky and the sun shone in his eyes blinding him. Birds circled overhead. He took in a deep breath and closed his eyes.

"I give in." He whispered.

"I would hope not. Just when hope arrives."

He opened his eyes. Standing in of him was a woman clothed in a simple white dress. A crown sat on her head and a sweet smile spread across her face.

"Let me help you up." She extended a hand out. He clasped it and weakly stood up. "Here," she said handing him a water skin. He took a sip and coughed. Sighing, he thanked her.

She helped him up onto her camel and they set out on the journey back to Oasis.
