I walked away as he turned his head towards me. No. I can't be falling for him. Why? He's a player. He's going to pretend he likes you and make you happy, then crush your heart.
My mind was overflowing with thoughts. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going because of the amount of stress and sadness flowing through my mind. I felt myself hit the ground and that's where my mind went completely blank.
"Jack go to class, please. She's okay." a heard a voice say in a sweet tone.
"No, I'm not leaving her until she's awake. I did this to her. This is my fault." another voice screamed back.
I felt my eyes open slowly. The light was blinding. I was laying on a small bed with a sheet over me. A guy rushed over to me and I thought I was dreaming.
"J-Jack?" I said confused.
"Yeah, ugh, it's me. Are you okay? How are you feeling?" he said quickly, giving me a head ache from all the questions.
"Stop, my head hurts. Slow down when you talk, please. How long was I out for?" I shot him a smile.
"Almost 2 hours. I'm sorry, this is my fault. Aaron is probably going to kill me." he said looking down.
"What? Really? Wow. And no he's not, this isn't your fault." I said closing my eyes, trying to remember what happened.
"Sydn- Jack get the fuck out of here now. You dare touch her and I will seriously hurt you." Aaron said running into the room.
Jack walked out of the room with his head down. I laid there and watched him leave. He looked so hurt. Aaron was talking but I wasn't listening. All I cared about, was Jack.
"Sydney!" Aaron yelled shaking me.
"Stop! What?" I said annoyed.
"You're going home, lets go!" he said sternly.
I got up slowly and grabbed Aaron's arm. My head was pounding. It felt like someone was throwing stones at my head repetitively. I felt dizzy and stopped walking. My stomach felt like it was twisting inside out making me want to cry.
"Aaron, I don't feel good." I said holding my stomach.
"Come here." he picked me up and carried me home bridal style.
When we got home, he brought me to my room and gently placed me on my bed. He grabbed a blanket from my closet and placed it over me.
"I'm going to get you some water, do you want something to eat?"
"Just get me food. You know what I like." he nodded and ran down stairs.
The one thing I like about Aaron, is that he is such a caring brother. Yeah we fight all the time, but when I'm sick, or hurt, he does everything he can to help me out. He's alway here for me and I'm always there for him.
Aaron ran up the stairs with a water and some Ramen Noodles. He set the plate down on my table and went to get something from his room. He came back with a chair.
"The nurse said you might have a conclusion, meaning I can't leave you alone." I nodded.
I fell asleep thinking about what happened today. This all didn't seem real. My life since the park didn't seem real. I didn't seem real. Was I even real?
I woke up after what felt like a cat nap. I looked around the room and Aaron was still sitting in the same place. He was on his phone as always.
"It's about time you wake up!" he said loudly, making my head heart a little.
