Gilinsky's POV

It's been almost a month since I spread that stupid rumor. I lost many friends and Sydney hasn't really talked to me, other than simple hi's in the hallways.

Her and Aaron have been doing a lot of vines lately. I've watched all of them and noticed how beautiful her voice is. Her voice harmonizes perfectly with Aaron's.

Everything is happening so fast. Sam hasn't talked to me at all ever since that stupid rumor. Even though he hated Sydney, he admitted what I did was wrong. They've been talking a lot lately and it was starting to get to my head. I was jealous. My best friend had the life I wanted right now. She was always so happy around her. Yeah he abused her several times but he's changed a lot. He got to know her and now they are close. The close I wanted to be with her.

Sydney's POV

Homecoming was coming up and no one had asked me. I honestly didn't want to go. It was Friday and homecoming was next Saturday. Sam and I have became so close. He's changed a lot. He's really sweet and protective. I feel safer with him now.

Sam: I'm coming over ok?

me: ok door's unlocked!

I put my phone on the charger and walked over to Aaron's room.

We've been making so many singing vines lately and we are slowly becoming "famous". We have 289k followers on vine.

I opened his door and he was laying on his bed, on his phone.

"Sam's coming over." I said. He nodded and I walked back to my room.

I heard the front door open and a smile instantly rose on my face. Sam walked into my room and I jumped on him.

"Sammyyy!" I yelled like a five year old girl.

"Sydneyyy!" he yelled back.

He kissed my cheek and put me down. I laid on my bed and patted the empty spot beside me. He plopped down next to me and closed his eyes. I could tell something was wrong. It was bugging me.

"What's wrong, Sammy?" I said, poking his side.

He was extremely ticklish. I continued poking his side. He kept squirming around. A smile spread across his face and he groaned.

"Stopppp" he said, holding his sides.

"Tell meeee!" I said, scooting closer to him.

"Fineee. Gilinsky came up to my today and told me to 'back' off you. I asked him why and he punched me several times in the stomach and said that you're 'his girl'." Sammy turned his head away from me.

"What the fuck? I'm not his! He's so rude to me! Where did he punch you?" I said, concerned.

He lifted his shirt and showed me the bruise. It was under his rib. The bruise was the size of a softball. I couldn't stop staring at his perfect abs. They were quite distracting. I pressed on the bruise and he bit his lip. His breathing sped up a lot and he flinched a little as I pressed on the bruise harder.

"Sam, are you okay?" I said stopping.

"Yeah... I'm ugh... fine..." he said looking away.

"Sam, I'm not stupid."

"You were kinda hurting me and you were touching me, making it hard for me to control myself." he said, still facing the other way.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you! Why didn't you say anything?" I said, playing with his fingers.

He starred into my eyes and spoke. "Because it felt good..."

"Ew, you're such a weirdo." I said and we both laughed.
