Chapter 2

I looked back to see a car full of boys. Not just any boys, the boys I personally wanted to strangle. I began walking, ignoring their existence. I heard a car door shut behind me and I felt my legs run faster than before. Why did they care about me so much today?

"Sydney!" Someone shouted from behind me.

I kept running until I reached my front porch. I pushed the door open slamming it behind me. I stormed up to my room to find Aaron laying on my bed.

"What do you want?" I said examining my knees.

Aaron quickly rushed over to me. He picked me up and sat me on my bed. I looked at him confused as he stared at my knees.

"Who did this to you?"

The words rang through my head. I never really told Aaron about Sam and Jack torturing me for fun. He would never believe me anyways. I decided to just tell him the truth anyways.

"Sammy and Jack." I said staring at my dangling legs.

"Are you serious?" Aaron said getting up.

Anger covered his face. I nodded and he ran out of my room down the stairs.

I laid on my bed with ice packs on each knee. My knees were already bad enough.

I turned my tv on and watched some Netflix. I flipped through the movies, trying to find something good to watch. As soon as I was about to press play my door burst open. Aaron, Sammy and Jack stood in my doorframe. Jack's face dropped when he saw me laying on my bed with ice pack on my knees. He came over to me and looked me straight in the eye. I got lost in his big dark brown eyes.

"I'm so so sorry for being a complete dick to you. I didn't realize how much I hurt you. I feel horrible now. I'm sorry again." he said stepped into my hallway before I could say anything.

I looked at the ground as Sammy entered my room. He looked at me and laughed.

"You told him, huh?" he said and I gave him a small nod.

"Do you think I'm going to apologize to you?" he said rudely.

I looked at the ground not saying a word. Sammy scared me the most. He was rude and never apologized for anything he did. At least Jack would apologize and looked like he felt bad.

"He's gonna hurt her! Let me go in!" I heard Jack yelling at Aaron.

I couldn't run or hide. Sammy's face had a smile wiped across his face. I saw him move closer to me slowly out of the corner of my eye.

"Stop! No!" I screamed.

Jack burst the door open and pushed Sammy away from me. He rushed to my side as Aaron brought Sammy into the hallway.

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" he said concerned.

"Yeah.. I'm fine.. and no, he was about to though." I said looking down at my legs.

"How's your knees?" He asked nervously.

Why was he being so nice? He's never this nice. He usually pushes me around and lets Sammy hurt me. Maybe he's only acting like this because Aaron knows about what he has done to me.

"They still hurt and I can't really walk..." I said trailing off.

He gently removed the ice packs, causing me to shake. I was still nervous. This was one of the kids that hurt me.

Thoughts swam through my mind. I was trying to push them away but they kept coming back.

He looked at my knees and bit his bottom lip. He put the ice packs back on my knees and left the room. I sighed in relief and turned my tv back on.

Surely enough, my door flew open again. This time it was only Aaron. I put on a fake smile and he looked at me weird. He shut my door and sat on my bed.

"What happened when Sammy was in here? Tell me everything, please." Aaron said with a serious face.

"He was mad because I told you what him and Jack have done to me. He didn't apologize an told me he wouldn't. I got scared because he came closer to me and I didn't know what he was going to do. I thought he was going to hurt me, so I screamed." I said looking Aaron in the eyes.

"What happened at the park?" he said, not replying to my answer.

"I was sitting on the park bench looking around the park. My eyes met with Sam's and he whispered something to Jack. The girls they were with left and Jack and Sam stared walking closer to me. I asked them what they wanted and Sam called me 'Little Miss Innocent'. I didn't say anything so Sam pulled me face to face with him by my shirt. He kicked both of my knees really hard, so I fell. I heard Jack yelling at Sam when I was on the ground. Someone hugged me but I didn't know who it was so I yelled for them to get off me. Without looking back, I ran home and yeah." I said and Aaron's face dropped.

"Come here." he said pulling me into a hug. "I'm sorry about my stupid friends. You should have told me earlier that were doing this to you. I'm always here for you, you're my sister."

"But Aaron every time I've tried to tell you you wouldn't believe me." I said.

"Well I do now because Jack told me what happened and his story about the park, was the same as your story." He said smirking. "He was the one who hugged you. He wanted to make sure you were safe. He wanted to try to make up with you for all he has done to hurt you."

"Oh..." I said as my cheeks got hot.

Aaron let go of me and started laughing.

"You're blushing! Awe!" he said smiling. "I'm telling Jack!"

"No! Aaron, please just keep this between us!"

"Fineee" he said looking at me. "Wanna film a vine? We haven't in a while!"

"Aaron, I can't really walk." We both laughed.

"Oh yeahh..." He said feeling stupid.

"Also, I don't have my phone."

"I talked to mom and she said you could have it back. You're welcome." he said handing my phone to me.

"Thanks."

I unlocked my phone and looked at my texts. I had 356 messages. My phone was blowing up like crazy.

"Ughh someone leaked my number." I said sighing.

I went on twitter and wrote:

"@mattscupcakee: my number is already leaked so text me your usernames and I will follow you!"

"@aaroncarpenter: . @mattscupcakee hahaha have fun sis!

I looked at Aaron because he was still in my room. He had a huge smile on his face.

"Thanks, now I'm going to have twice the amount of fans texting me." I said laughing to my self.

"Whoopppss" he said running out if my room.

I woke up and realized it was Monday. I took a shower and put on light blue high waisted jeans with a coral crop top. I slipped on my black vans and walked downstairs.

"It's about time." Aaron said sitting on the couch.

"Sorry." I said grabbing a bagel and walking out the door.

Aaron and I walked to school because it was only a couple minutes away.

When we got to school, Aaron left to go hangout with his friends, leaving me alone. I walked to my locker and got the books I needed for my first few classes. I closed my locker and headed upstairs to my first class. I had algebra. It was boring as always.

My third class ended and now it was lunch time. I sat with my friends. They all gossiped about the boys they liked and all the homework they have. The usual. The bell hadn't rung yet but I was done with my lunch. I didn't feel like talking to anyone today. Saturday night at the park was still on replay in my mind. I got up and walked out of the cafeteria. I walked to my locker only to find something that hurt me so much.
