"Sydney, you better get down here right now." my mom yelled from down stairs.

I groaned under my breath and hopped off my bed. I opened my door an slammed it behind me. I skipped down the stairs, wearing a fake smile.

"Where were you last night?" my dad said looking into my eyes.

My smile faded and I looked around the room searching for words.

"Ughh.. I was at Maddy's house." I said lying.

I stared at the ground, hoping they wouldn't question me anymore.

"Explain this." my mom said holding up the sparkly black mini dress I wore last night to the party.

I felt my stomach drop. I couldn't get myself out of this one.

"Fine. I went to a party last night with my friends from school. I'm 15, mom. Why do I get in trouble but Aaron doesn't?" I said storming up the stairs to my room, slamming the door loudly behind me, making a statement.

Aaron never gets in trouble for being out late, or doing drugs. He's my twin brother. Just because he's 3 minutes older than me, doesn't mean he can do whatever he wants, and get away with it. I heard someone knock on my door.

"What!" I screamed annoyed.

"Can we talk?" Aaron said opening my door, and coming in.

"Did I say you could come in?" I said in a sour tone.

"I heard you got in trouble." He said ignoring my question.

"Shut up! It's all your fault because you invited me to go with you to that stupid party!" I said turning my back to him.

"I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean to get you grounded!"

"I lost my phone for a month because I 'snuck' out of the house. Thank you." I said walking out of my room.

I stepped outside and a warm breeze rubbed against me. I decided to take a walk down the street to clear my mind. There was a small park next to my neighborhood that almost everyone went to. It was like a meet up spot for all ages.

As I came closer to the park I searched for an empty park bench. I found one all the way in the back of the park where no one really goes. I sat down and looked around. My eyes locked on something I didn't want to see.

Sammy Wilkinson and Jack Gilinsky.

Of course they were holding hands with two of the most stuck up, sluts in school. All four of them were 'one night standers'. The fucked anyone they could find. Jack and Sam could get almost any girl they wanted, but I was certainly not one of those girls. I wanted nothing to do with them. They had heart breaker written all over their pretty little faces. I cringed a little when Jack kissed the girl's cheek.

Sammy looked around the park. He looked in my direction and our eyes quickly met. My heart dropped into my stomach. He whispered something to Jack, and shooed the sluts away. They slowly walked in my direction, making my heart pound a million beats per second. As they came closer my heart pounded faster and faster, until they were directly in front of me.

"Can.. I.. ugh help you guys?" I said nervously.

I will admit I was scared. These guys had always picked on me and thrown me around. They never liked me. I don't know what I did to them, but they hated me. Aaron was best friends with them, I don't know why, but he was.

"Oh, look who it is, little miss I'm so innocent." Sammy said laughing with Jack.

I stood there with my head down, not saying a word.

"So you're not going to talk, are ya?" Sammy said.

"No." I said softly.

Sam pulled me up, by my shirt, so I was face-to-face with him. I stood in front of him as he let go of my shirt. I closed my eyes hoping this was a dream. I started shaking uncontrollably. I was scared out of my mind. They were obviously going to hurt me. I felt sharp pains on both of my knees, causing me to fall. I laid on the ground in a little ball. I didn't have enough energy to get up.

"Leave her alone! Just go!" I could hear Jack yelling at someone in the distance.

It was quiet, until I heard footsteps come closer to me. I felt arms wrap around me but I couldn't see who's arms they were. I tired to get out of the grip but it tightened.

"Let go of me!" I screamed loud enough for the whole park to hear.

Everyone looked at me and the arms let me go. I stumbled to my feet and ran back home. On the way home, my knees were sore, and I could barely walk anymore. My house was less that a block away but I had no energy to move. I sat down on the sidewalk, gaining my breath back. As I got up again to start walking home I heard a voice speak from behind me.

"Do you need a ride?" the voice spoke.

I froze, before looking to see who it was.
