21. I Think I Love Him

Saturday Noon

Kaoru POV

We stayed at Miya's house. It's weird, I'm used to Hailee running around the house.

"Momoko, there's this book I was reading-

"What is it?" she asked

"I don't really remember, Mom said it would engage my teenage mind." I replied "Okay the boy and girl don't get along. But during a chapter he risk his life for her."

"AAAWWWW!" They both swooned

"And after a small argument they kiss-

"AAAAWWWWWW! So sweet!"

"They fall asleep and it's like five a.m. when he takes her home. When she wakes up he's asleep in the corner of the room. They kiss again before he jumps out the window."

"Awwww! That's so cute Kao-Chan!" Miyako smiled

"I would love a book like that!" Momoko cheered

"Anyway, my question is. Are they official or like just not gonna hang around another boy or girl?"

"I say official," Momoko said

"But they didn't get along before and kinda compete with each other," I said

"I guess they aren't official till someone says it," Miyako says it

"What if neither one of them does? And she's confused on wether she likes him or not?"

"Why don't you just read ahead?" Miyako asked

Momoko lifted my head "Then maybe she should say something before it's too late."

"Why were asking us if you could read ahead?" Momo asked.

"I wanted real girl answers," I said "Pretty stupid."

"There's nothing stupid when it comes to love!" Miya swooned. Great, she's doing it again.
I wanted to get their opinions because, I think I'm in love with Kaohi.

Miyako POV

"Why did I have to come walking with you again?" I giggled

"Because I wanted you to." Minokai smiled handing me some powdered sugar balls. They tasted like little pieces of heaven. No one has ever tried to take me on walks like this. Not even all those boys who liked me in middle school.

I wanted so badly for this to be considered a date. Just let it be a date! I really like him.

Boomer POV

The date- walk! The walk, was almost over. I knew the last place a wanted to take her. It was a little cliff out in the woods that looked over a waterfall.

Miyako POV

"Whoa!" I smiled "It's beautiful."

"What are you doing?" I asked at him taking off his shirt.

"It's a waterfall, I'm going in," he smirked jumping off the edge.
I'm not seriously jumping in after him?

I took of my shoes and stuff and jumped in. This felt good actually, then again my power is water.

"Though you wouldn't come in," Nokai laughed.

It was a long day and pretty fun. "Come on." he swam under the waterfall.

"What is it," I asked

"Keep watching the sun " he said. The sunlight shone through the water and on the sparking rocks along the wall.

"That's beautiful," I said. He pulled me closer to him and into a passionate kiss. I felt like I would melt on the spot. I was blushing brighter than I ever have. My heart was racing faster than it ever has.

This specific kiss wasn't like any other. It was special.

While the sun was setting we sat on the cliff.

"Minokai. Why did you bring me here?" I asked

"I always loved it here, I thought I could bring someone I feel the same way for here to." he replied, from the tone he's blushing. "Maybe she felt the same way."

The feeling I had for him was weird. It wasn't liking. Like Liking. Or any of that. It's deeper than that.
I think I love Minokai

"Maybe she does," I yawned quietly before falling asleep
