27. A Battle Gone Wrong

Friday

Momoko POV

"You did an amazing thing for Kaname," I smiled

"She did an amazing thing for me," Miyako replied

"Heyo!" Kaohi yelled putting his arm around Kaoru.

"Move the hand or lose the hand," she growled

"Aww Girly you know you love me," he mocked. She jabbed him back in his stomach and he fell.

"He asked for it," she said

"Morning," Mokai waved "Not gonna asked what he did, he probably deserved it."

"Hey," Minokai said "Kaoru that looks like your doing."

"Of course it is," she said. In class they were talking about heroes. Mina brought up the Powerpuff Girls. Me, Kaoru, and Miyako were blushing at the whole class talking about us.

"I heard Bubbles has this extra transformation and she was like super awesome!" Takai said

"Yeah Miyako what was all that about?" Kaoru asked quietly.

"I was so scared about Hailee, it just happened," she replied.

For a warmup, our teacher had us write about what superpowers we would want.

"If I could have any power it would be x-ray vision," Kaohi smirked

"Why's that?" Sensei asked. His face paled more than usual.

I wrote about my ice powers and I'm pretty sure they wrote about theirs.

Afterwards

"Oh sorry- Natsuki?!"

"Momoko? Momo wait!" He held onto my arm and I didn't have the heart to pull back

"What do you want?" I hissed.

"Are you okay, I haven't heard from you and Miyako on the news. I wanted to know you're okay."

"I'm alive aren't I," I said "Could you please step away from me and leave me alone."

"Hey..I'm sorry." He said

"Don't you think your a little late for apologies?" I snapped back "When's the last time we've even talked Natsuki?"

"I know I just-

"-Couldn't figure if out." I finished his words. "Yeah, you never figure it out."

He let go of my arm and stood there. Silent as always. "I gotta go."

I started walking away and as i suspected, he didn't stop me. I blinked back any tears and held my head high. I was already done with him anyway.

In the cafeteria Miyako and Kao were balancing pencils on their noses.

"Aren't we a little too old for this," I said. I joined in and was winning, then I saw Mokai and dropped mine.

"What are you guys doing?" Minokai asked

"Winning!" Kaoru cheered.

"I bet I can beat all five of you," Kaohi smirked

" Oh really," Miya grinned. All of us placed pencils on our noses. We looked like little kids.

"Weirdos," someone coughed

"Freaks," another one

"You guys should really get those fake ass coughs checked," Kaoru said.

Mokai lost his placing a five dollar bill in the middle. So did Minokai, then Kaoru then me.

"Kaohi vs Miyako, final death round!" Mokai exclaimed into his spoon.

"I'll say brother its a mighty fine day for pencil balancing," Minokai smiled. They were taking this pretty seriously.

"A-Choo!" Kaohi sneezed "That's not fair!"

"Alls fair in love and war," I smiled collecting my winnings.

"Come on don't be so short tempered," Mokai laughed

"You one to talk about short. You were so small if I didn't look where I was going I would accidentally step on you!"

After School

I walked alone from everybody else. The library was close so it was just me.

"Momoko!" Mokai yelled

"Huh?" I asked

He was blushing a lot. "Are you okay Kai?" I asked

Mokai/ Brick POV

Just the way she turned her way to the side made her look adorable. Why does she have to be so cute? I couldn't ask for a more perfect girl, but the way she looks and is makes it so hard to ask her a simple question without blushing!

"Do...do...do..d-do you want to go on a date?" I tried saying

"A date?" She asked blushing "Okay sure!" She smiled.

"Really," I asked "Tomorrow," I smiled.

Momoko POV

Beep Beep Beep

This belt has some terrible timing!!!

"I gotta go, tomorrow Mokai-Kun!" I yelled running down the street and past my turn.

"Hey don't you live the other way!" He yelled but I was already gone.

Hyper Blossom!

Kaoru POV

The music blasted in my ears only cut off by the idiot.

"Kaoru!" Kaohi yelled

"What!"

"I called you like fifteen times already!"

"Ear buds are the natural way of say, shut the fuck up, she can't hear you!"

"Whatever come on," he said

"Why are you walking with me again," I asked

"Because I'm bored," he replied

"Professor," I called coming in

"Kaoru have you seen Momoko?" Ken asked

"No," I said

"Powerpuff Girls we need you!"

"Gahhh!" Kaohi yelled "AAAHH, what is that noise!"

"What noise?"

"It was this high pitched shrieking."

Beep Beep Beep

"I gotta go home!" I yelled running around the lab.

Powered Buttercup!

Miyako POV

Minokai asked to come with me to pick up Hailee. She talked nonstop about what an awesome day she had.

Beep Beep Beep

"Um me and Hailee have to get home," I said really quick, "How about you and me hang out tomorrow Nokia-Kun."

"Sure, like a date-

"See ya!" I yelled taking Hailee to the lab.

Rolling Bubbles

I got there late and I had no idea what we where fighting but it was black and strong.

"AHH!"  Blossy yelled being sucked into the ground.

'Blossom!" BC yelled going after her. It grabbed my leg and I tried kicking it off but it grabbed my wand.

"Let me go!" I yelled lastly before the sun was block from my sight.
