ORORO MUNROE(storm)

CHAPTER 20

After 3 days of sleep, storm finally woke to see her room decorated with nice flowers, flowers were actually sprouting from the walls, she looked at the mirror and found a garland of flowers on her head, she thought she was some greek goddess of plants. She had a quick shower and put on some clothes, she went downstairs and saw the boys sitting at a table with some other mutants, she rushed over to them and found a sit, "how come you guys are already awake" she asked with a confused look on her face, Pathy patted her shoulders,"you don't have to be uptight about it, we are guys and you are a girl, besides you went over board with the new powers and all, what should we call you now, Plant girl? flower girl? oh wait i got it! Bush?. Ororo's eyes turned white as she smacked him on the head, "i still have my old powers you knuckle head, and storm is just fine with me, it gives a nice touch to my personality". Porter coughed into his cup "yeah no kidding" and as he was about to sip his tea it turned to ice.

Mr Adam came into the room and told Ororo to take a walk with him, she reluctantly stood, partly because she was still a little bit tired from the whole training simulation and she didn't think she can stand another one of those for now. Both of them walked out into the garden and ororo couldn't help but be amazed at the beautiful sight, but she still hated mr adam though. The stopped at a water fall and mr adam turned to face her, "you have shown more powers beyond my expectation and i think with you on our side we can actually win this war", ororo was scratching her ears " what war are you talking about exactly? you keep mentioning this war this, war that, look i know we were kidnapped and they wanted to use us for experiments, you make it sound as though its going to be a global thing". Mr Adam smiled, "well i wouldn't blame you if you think this way, but you won't understand, i've seen how all this will turn out" he stared into space "this war will happen and when it does we all need to be prepared to...." he saw storm with a bent neck staring into the same space he was looking at, "what are you looking at?" he asked, Storm adjusted her head, "i wanted to see what you were looking at, you seemed to be getting inspiration from space", Mr adam was a little bit confused " well all i was saying is that we need to be prepared for the worse", storm sighed and nodded her head.

Suddenly an explosion was heard from a far distance, Ororo and Mr Adam rushed to the scene to see mutants running around while some were standing their ground, storm turned to see who they were fighting and suddenly she felt that pit in her stomach, it was him, the hooded guy, with just a stretch of his hands he blasted them away with an invisible force, someone tried to creep up behind him but stopped as the enemy turned and looked into his eyes, it was as though a spell was cast on him, immediately he turned to face his friends, and Mr Adam turned to storm "you might want to cover your ears", storm turned and looked at him "what?".

Immediately, the boy put under the spell, let out a shrieking cry, which made the heads of some of the mutants explode when thy heard it, Storm quickly covered her ears, even though they were far away she could still feel the headache, the boy kept on screaming until he exhausted his life force and fell to the ground, dead as a rat. Ororo couldn't stand the horror, she started running towards the building, the only thing she could think of now was the boys, if they were okay, as she was about reaching the door, someone held her hands, she lifted her head and met red and purple eyes, that was when she realised that she shouldn't have looked, and also noticed he was black, and he spoke to her in the coldest tone possible, "why kill you when i can use you to destroy this whole place". Immediately, Storm felt her self losing control of her mind and body, she tried fighting it but it was no use, immediately her eyes turned white, the three brothers ran out of the building and saw storm standing close to their worst enemy, they were about to run to her when she shouted with the last consciousness she had in her "RUN!!!!!!".

Immediately a mighty wind began to blow, Mr adam tried accessing Storm's mind but could not get in, that was when someone tapped his shoulders and he turned, "peek a boo", he was punched half way across the garden, the guy did a weird thing with his hands and spit a massive amount of fire towards mr adam, as he jumped into the fountain as the fire burned up, but he was dragged out of the water by an invisible force and thrown on the ground, immediately he got up and tried to run but got stopped in his tracks, meanwhile the fight the was going on, Storm was wrecking everywhere, people were running around for shelter, the wind was too powerful, one of the mutants hauled a boulder in her direction but it was shattered by lightning, Storm sent a wind in his direction which blasted him through the building wall, another telepath tried accessing Storm's mind as Stormed turned to face her "pathetic", immediately all the air in the poor girls lungs started coming out through her mouth, she was almost about to be drained of air when a speed mutant zipped her out of harms way as she gasped for air.

Kinesis used his power of levitation to try and destabilize Storm but he was not winning that fight at all, Ororo turned to face him as icicles started firing from the sky in his direction, he used his powers to stop them in place but they kept coming and he didn't know just how much he could handle, just then he looked at his feet and saw that vines were wrapping round his legs, he quickly jumped out of the way fast enough before it could grab "oh no, she is going bush mode now?", he looked around to see people entangled in vines, he cut some of them loose and turned to look at storm who struck a lightning bolt to the ground as every where went dead silent. Mr adam who was already beaten to a pulp turned to look as the ground began to shake and break and immediately a tree giant emerged out of the ground and roared a mighty roar such that the ground shook. Pathy, Porter and Kinesis looked at their friend in utmost shock and wondered if it was really the Ororo they knew.
