Unexpected

A Date?

*****Karen's POV*****

I bit my lip thinking about what the possibility could be if I 100% agreed.

"Oh Karen!"

"What?" He walked in smiling from ear to ear.

"Oh we have the appointment in like thirty minutes."

"Oh Crap! I almost forgot. Hey Luna. We have the appointment in like half an hour. You guys said you wanted to come right?"

"Yeah! Ill make sure everyone is ready and then you guys come get us ok?"

"Yeah that's perfect. We'll see you guys in a few!"

We hung up and Adan came into the room. He sat down and stared at me.

"Sooooo........umm." He looked at the ceiling as he scratched the back of his head.

"So what?" I asked curiously. I knew he was up to something know what.

"So umm do you wanna go on a date with me?

"A date?" I was surprised. I hadn't gone on a date with him since the beginning of my sophmore year. He seemed embarrassed and assumed I would turn him down, so he broke the silence.

"You know what. I'm sorry. That was a stup-"

"I would love to babe." I pecked his lips and smiled, "but maybe later. We have to go to the doctor's ok?"

So we got ready and we went to pick up our people. Since we had a 5 passenger car and there were 6 of us we had to compromise on comfort. We chose Luna to sit on Jean. After all, Luna was the thinnest of all of us and we figured that she weighed the least. So we arrived at the hospital and I went with Adan to sign in. The waiting room was very empty. We got called in and Adan asked how many people we would be able to bring in only two people at a time. So we entered the room with Ivy and Gilberto. I layed down on the bed and everyone else surrounded me. The technician began to instruct me to lift my shirt and stuff like that. We began to see an image on the screen as the tecnician moved the wand. I heard Gilberto whisper to Adan that the baby looked like an alien. The tecnician began to point out the different features of the baby.

"Is it sucking on its thumb?" Ivy asked and the tecnician moved the wand to get a better view.

"Yes it is. Now if you think thats cool then you should hear this." The tecnician smiled as she turned a dial on the machine and the baby's steady heartbeat began to sound out of the speakers. I looked up at Adan and he mouthed out the word 'wow'. I smiled and he bent down to my level. He wiped a tear of my cheek and then he escorted Ivy and Giberto out and brought Jean and Luna in. He updated them on everything that had happened and then I asked "Can you tell whether its a boy or a girl yet?"

"Oh no net yet. We are able to tell when you are 18 to 19 weeks in." she smiled and then asked us if we wanted a printout. Of course we said yes. We dropped every one off at their houses and we drove back home.

SORRY FOR A SUPER SLOW UPDATE. I HAVE BEEN SWITCHING BETWEEN THE PHONE APP AND MY COMPUTER AND I HAVE LOTS OF HW :(
