C H A P T E R 39

After the movies the boys decided to go to sleep. They noticed Y/n fell asleep and Zach carried her to her room.

She was already in her pajamas, because she changed in those after she took a shower. Zach gently laid her in her bed and pulled the covers over her.

He gave a litlle kiss on her head and whispered.
Z: "Goodnight, Y/n, hope you sleep well"

He looked at her and admired how cute and beautiful she was while she was sleeping. But then he thought it became creepy, so he went to his own room, said goodnight to the boys and fell asleep.

*Y/Ns P. O. V*

I woke up to a loud sound. I looked around and saw that I was in my bed. I guess someone carried me to bed, because I remember falling half asleep while we were watching a movie.

I heard another sound. It was pouring right now. It hadn't stopped raining, but it became worse. And again, another loud sound. It was thunder.

Oh, no. I'm really scared of thunder and lightning. That's because a couple years ago, it was storming and the lightning hit our house. It was super scary and I was terrified.

Luckily my dad made sure the house didn't catch on fire and nothing happened. But it was really, really scary.

I looked at the clock and it was 2.54 am. Another loud thunder sound. I started to breathe a bit heavily and I looked outside.

I didn't have real/good curtains yet, so I saw everything that went on outside. It was storming like crazy. It looked horrible.

I saw a lightning flash and I just relived the moment. I got tears in my eyes. I was all alone. Calm down Y/n, it's nothing. I said to myself, but it didn't work.

I didn't feel safe and I didn't know what to do. I wish my mom was here, she calmed me while the lightning hit our house. But I was all alone now. No mom to help me.

The tears slowly streamed down my cheeks. Wait a minute, I wasn't alone! The boys were upstairs! But then I realized it was like 3 am. I couldn't wake them up.

I got so terrified and I crawled under the covers. I covered my face and ears, but it didn't help. I had to go to the boys. But I didn't want to go and walk around the house alone, that was scary.

Okay Y/n! Enough now! Or you are going to be brave for once and just go to one of the boys, or you are going to just lay in your bed crying your eyes out, because you're a scared coward.

I said to myself. I don't want to be a coward, even thought I already am, because I am scared of thunder and lighting, but still. I gathered all my courage together and got out of bed.

Okay screw it, I made a run for it and sprinted upstairs. I was shaking and out of breath. I stood at the top of the stairs and panicked a bit. What do I do now?!

Without thinking I opened the door to Zachs room. He was sleeping peacefully.
Y/N: "Zach!"
I whisper screamed while my voice cracked, because of the tears.

He didn't hear me. He was pretty cute when he was asleep.
Y/N: "ZACH!" I whisper screamed again. He woke up and frowned. He rubbed his eyes.

Z: "Hm?... Huh?.. Y/N?!"
He quickly sat up. He jumped off his bed and walked to me. He embraced me in a warm hug.
Z: "Sshh, it's okay"

I cried in his arms, I didn't know why I was like this right now, but I was so scared. It may seem like nothing much, but if your house is almost on fire and you're a child and don't know what is happening, it's really scary.

Z: "What happened?"
He whispered while he walked me to the bed and sat on it. I let out a loud sob and coughed pretty hard.

Z: "Shh, I know there's something wrong, but you need to calm down, otherwise you're going to wake the boys up"
Y/N: "I'm sorry"
Z: "It's okay"
He said as he gently wiped my tears away with his thumbs.

Z: "So can you tell me what's wrong now? I'm a bit worried"
I took some deep breaths and calmed down a bit.

I explained what happened to Zach and why I was so scared. It was still storming. There was a loud thunder sound again. I flinched.

Z: "Don't worry, it's okay"
He said as he hugged me.
Y/N: "I'm sorry for waking you up, I shouldn't have been such a coward and just should've go back to sleep."

Z: "Y/n, it doesn't matter. If something is wrong you can always come to me. Even if it's 3 am"
He said laughing a bit. I laughed too. Then I yawned.

Y/N: "Uhh, I should go back to my bed now, thank you, Zach"
I said as I stood up, but Zach grabbed my arm.

Z: "No you're not going back, you're staying here."
He pulled my arm back and I fell on the bed, on top of him. We both blushed.

Y/N: "O-oh, I'm sorry" I
said as I got off of him.
Z: "No it was my fault, I'm sorry"
He said laughing. We both laid next to each other on his bed. I yawned again.

Zach pulled the covers over me.
Another loud thunder. I brought my knees to my chest.
Z: "Nothing is going to happen, Y/n, you're safe"

He rubbed my back and then I felt his arms wrap around me.
Z: "Calm down"
He whispered in my ear. I unfolded my knees and just laid down. I felt Zach stroking my hair.

I was shivering. He hummed a little song while he calmed me down. Eventually, I fell asleep in his arms.
