C H A P T E R 68

Do: "Hello everyone. Hi Y/n, how are you feeling?"
He walked over to her bed.
Y/N: "I'm okay, but this tube here is not okay"
She said with a small voice. The doctor grinned a bit.

Do: "Yes, I can imagine that that tube isn't nice. I'll remove it. It's going to hurt a bit and you are probably going to throw up. Can everyone please leave the room for a minute? One person can stay if you want Y/n"
Y/n looked at me while the doctor searched for a nurse.

Y/N: "Zach"
Z: "You want me to stay?! Not your mom?"
She nodded lightly.
Y/N: "You"
Z: "Okay then"

I sat down next to her and held her hand. Everyone left and were probably going to eat something real quick. The doctor and a nurse came back.

They told what they were going to do, so Y/n knew what was going on. I could see in her eyes that she was still a bit scared.

I squeezed her hand lightly and stroked her hair, calming her down.
Z: "It's going to be okay, they know what they're doing"

The doctor counted down and removed the tube. Y/n squeezed my hand a bit. The doctor was right, she threw up, but the nurse helped her quickly. They cleaned everything up, we thanked them and they left us alone again.

Y/N: "Ughh finally. That stupid tube was so uncomfortable and it hurt so bad"
She could talk normal again. I laughed at her.

Z: "How are you feeling?"
Y/N: "Honestly?"
I nodded. She sighed deeply.

Y/N: "Meh, my head hurts really bad and I'm a bit dizzy. It feels like my stomach is spinning and I'm really tired"
Z: "Awh, I'm sorry. Go get some rest. Try to sleep for a bit"
She just looked at me.

Z: "Just try it, Y/n. I'm going to go to the others now and you are going to sleep"
I got up, kissed her head and slowly let go of her hand.
Z: "Goodnight"

I said as I walked out of the door. I closed it silently and took a deep breath. Thank god, she's okay.

I walked to the little food place in the hospital and as I thought, the others were there ordering their food. Pretty obvious, because it was already dinner time.

I quickly walked up to them and ordered something too. I was not really hungry, so I just got something small. We all sat down on a table.

Z: "The doctor was right, she threw up. I asked her how she felt and she said her head hurt really bad and she was really tired, so I told her to get some sleep"
Jo: "That's sad, but I'm glad that she is okay"

We ate and just talked for some time. After a few hours we went back to Y/n. There was a nurse checking up on her.

Nurse: "Yes, that's fine, just get some rest"
She said to Y/n. She laid something back in a cabinet, smiled at us and then left the room.

Mom: "Hi honey, how are you?"
Y/N: "My head hurts so much and I'm still tired"
Dad: "Yeah, that's because of your concussion, I think you'll feel that for a while"

Two hours later the doctor walked in and told us that everyone had to go, because Y/n had to rest. Only one person could stay the night. And he left again.

Jo: "Who's going to stay?"
Ja: "Zach or her parents"
D: "I agree"
Jo: "Yes, I think that too"
C: "Agreed"
Dad: "Zach"

I couldn't even say anything and they already decided that I was going to stay.

Z: "No guys, I think one of her parents should stay"
Mom: "No Zach, you can stay. If you want to, of course"

I hesitated a bit. Of course I wanted to stay, but maybe she wants her parents to stay. And I think she's still mad at me.

Z: "Sure?"
Mom: "100%"
Dad: "Positive"
They smiled at me.
Z: "Okay, but only if Y/n wants to. We have to ask her who she wants to stay"

Y/ns mom turned to her.
Mom: "Sweetie, is it okay if Zach stays with you tonight?"
She nodded lightly, she was so tired.
Mom: "Zach stays"

They all kissed and hugged Y/n and me goodbye and then left. I sat down next to her. I held her hand and we just sat silently like that for a while.

All of a sudden I heard some sniffles. I looked over to Y/n, tears were streaming down her face.
