Once we were all seated around the table Elise got right to the point of why we were there. She said what lil Johnny unleashed were an abomination and a parasite that's never walked among the living until now. I looked over at Criss as I asked her if we were dealing with a ghost of some kind and if we were how could we fight it. Elise gave an insecure smile and said that this entity was never human and that it was not a ghost but a demon from  a parallel plain that is connected to our world and that trunk was a locked door to keep it out of our world, and now that its been unlocked and opened we all had to find a way to put it back in before it destroyed our world and made it like its world of darkness.

Criss stood up and asked why it took our kids if it was powerful enough to take over and change the world why hasn't it done it already and just wiped us all out instead of just taking the kids. Elise gave a slight sigh and told us that the entity feeds off of our fears and pains, and it wasn't strong enough yet to fully take over, but the longer we waited, the stronger and more challenging it would be to defeat the demon. Klayton stood up and asked what our real chances were to get the kids back in one piece. Elise looked down as she said it was going to be very difficult and right now our chances were at 50/50 at best, and if we keep waiting the chance was going to lessen considerably.

I got up and headed for the door while telling them we had to get something done then because I wasn't at all bout to lose our kids from some fucked up demon that wanted to take over our world. Elise got up and told her two boys to gather the equipment and load it up for she was going to help any way she could. Criss looked in the back of the truck and asked Elise how we could use the trunk to lure the demon thing back inside it. Elise looked at the trunk very carefully then noticed the encryptions on the sides and top of the lid. It was in an ancient language that has been dormant for many centuries, but luckily in her field of work, she could read it.

She began to read it and told us all that the entity was bound into the trunk by a young religious woman pure of heart and wasn't afraid to give her life to save others. But she also had some kind of ritualistic spell that bound the demon inside, and without that exact spell, she didn't see how useful the trunk would be to lock the demon back up inside it. Klayton grumbled to himself and said we'd have to worry about that later, and first thing was to get the kids back, get them to safety, then work together to figure out a way to dispose of the demon. Elise sat beside Klayton in the truck and asked him how long he's been able to see.

Klayton looked over at her like she was nuts, and said he didn't know what she was talking about. Elise snickered and told him that he was what she liked to call a Traveler, then she asked again how long he's been able to see things from his dreams, that eventually turn into reality. Klayton turned away and ignored her, he didn't like the idea of being called a freak. Criss stopped the truck as soon as he pulled up in the parking lot of Serenity, and looked back at his buddy and asked him what all did he see, and that maybe one of his visions could help us defeat the demon.

Klayton stormed out of the truck and said he wasn't a fucking Traveler or a Freak, he was just a guy that had nightmares, and there was nothing special or weird about it. Elise touched Klayton's arm and said but his dreams were more than just mere nightmares, his dreams came to life, because he knew before Johnny ever opened the trunk that he was going to, but he didn't realize that he could've stopped it, if he would've understood what he was seeing in his visions. I ran into the house first, to see everyone sitting in a close group with only one flashlight as a power source. Elise felt the deep chill of the paranormal right as she entered the house.

Costa and JD quickly asked if we found out anything and if we were going to be able to get the kids back. Elise spoke for us all and said we were going to try our damnedest to get the kids back, but it wasn't going to be easy. For this demon was growing very strong very quickly, and it was unlike any demon she's faced before. Elise turned to the other ladies in the group and told them not to help the demon out by showing so much fear and apprehension because the demon knew too much already, then she turned to Criss and asked him where the kids were at when they were taken. Criss slowly moved toward the stairs and pointed to the kids' bedroom and said that the demon wouldn't let us go up the stairs.

Elise looked at the darkened stairway and slowly breathed in and said she would see about that, then she wrapped her hand around a special trinket that she had around her neck and slowly went up the first three stairs, then told us all to lock hands and follow right behind her because the demon wasn't strong enough to face us all at the same time. As soon as he were halfway up the stairs the house began to feel as if it was spinning out of control and blood-curdling screams that sounded like our kids, sent chills up our spines, but Elise told us all to ignore it that the demon was trying to break our spirits and take over us thru our fears and that she knew our kids were still ok and somewhere in this house.
