The Grimm(Scary Story)

*The Grimm~18*

As the two ghostly children moved closer to Klayton and touched each side of his face it all came back to me the reason I kept feeling that sense of recognition with them was that they were Klayton's baby's that were taken away from him in a car wreck years ago. I placed my hands over my mouth as a slight gasp reached Klayton's ears, he turned around after feeling the cold but warm sensation on the sides of his face and he was now looking into the eyes of both of his children.

Klayton was in instant tears as they both smiled at him and said hi daddy, he moved his hands to their cheeks and tried to touch his baby's but he knew he couldn't. Everyone else in the room couldn't believe what they were seeing, for they never believed Klayton really had a family and a very beautiful wife at one time. I knew he did though because I met all of them, and his wife used to be my best friend. I moved down and knelt down beside Klayton and touched his shoulder. He thanked me with his eyes for the understanding I showed him, but he couldn't help but ask his daughter why they were there amongst the kids that were taken by the evil entity, because they weren't victims of it, they were killed in a car crash along with their mom.

His little girl, Kelly sat down in front of him and said that it was the evil that made the car crash and it was their mommy that opened the strange box and let it out, and they've been trapped inside the evil's container ever since waiting for another to open the trunk so they could have another chance to find peace and be set free. Then Kiefer his lil boy sat down in Klayton's lap and asked if he was there to save them. Momentarily Klayton was lost in himself, and closed his eyes real tight, and said he came to save his babies and he wouldn't stop or rest until he set all the kids free from the clutches of whatever evil was holding them.

Elise looked down at Klayton as he slowly stood up, and said this was just another trick from the evil to put his guard down and vulnerable because his kids weren't really here. Klayton moved past her and ignored her completely and asked Criss if he could see them. Criss humorously looked around him and said yep he definitely seen Kiefer and Kelly, and about 60 other lil ghost kids following right behind him. Kiefer scampered over to me and smiled up at me as he touched my finger and said hi Kc, after all that time Klayton's kids remembered me and they only met me a couple times. The way Elise was talking  I didn't think she could see them all following Klayton asking for help.

Criss kept having strange feelings about why we were seeing the children now though, instead of in the beginning, so he went to one of the older ghost kids and asked him if he could tell us anything about this entity that was holding them captive. The dead teenage boy said his name was Eddie and that he was one of the most recent victims of the entity and was killed two Halloweens ago when he was dared to go to the Maple Street house and open the trunk that was on the porch, and shortly after he opened it an evil and very dark hideous female emerged from the trunk and it one by one killed all of his friends around him by using his body as a vessel while his soul was trapped inside the trunk.

I went over to the boy and asked him why the entity stopped killing and how it got trapped back inside the box. Eddie looked at me and with a little bit of emotion, he said the police shot him several times until one of the bullets pierced his heart, after the vessel the entity took over was destroyed it sent it back into the trunk along with all of its recent victims. I looked over at Elise and said the entity wasn't strong enough to jump inside a vessel yet, but maybe that was the way to stop it. JD stopped me and asked what about all of our kids, we can't just try an destroy it without getting our kids first. Because after the entity was destroyed Eddie said all of its victims went with it into the dark void.

Rachel, Kim, and Letty couldn't fathom the things that were happening and just wanted it all to end so they could get their kids and get away from there Kim was seriously thinking about not having anymore family friend get-togethers for holidays if this was going to be the outcome of their visits with us, and that is was much safer to stay at home. Lynn, Kim, and Abby were all feeling the same, and in a way, they wanted to blame us for everything and was even beginning to resent and hate us and Johnny for letting the evil out and taking their kids. Sully, however, was very hostily telling them all to shut the fuck up, and that we were all at fault, and there was no way he was going to take it out on his lil nephew that didn't know what he was doing, and they were all no account assholes if they did.

Costa and JD both agreed with Sully very quickly as Criss added if there was anyone that wanted to blame his son for anything to take it up personally with him and he'd gladly set them all fucking straight. Elise interrupted all of us and as she pointed to the door at the end of the hallway and asked what room was that. Criss and I both looked in the direction she was pointing in and we both said that door wasn't supposed to be there for that was just the back wall, and there was normally no room over there. Klayton was still kneeling with his kids right beside him, then he slowly stood up again and told us that behind that door was where we would find the entity and our kids. Criss and I both went over to Klayton and put our hands on his shoulder and asked at the same time how he knew that and as he smiled down at his two kids, he said because his baby could walk thru walls and they told him what was in there.
