Chapter Six

Will

I see Leo's heart rate spiking. But it's been doing that. And he's thrashing around. Like a demon from the fields of punishment are torturing him. But, what's most alarming, is the fact that I don't know what to do, about the alarming thing happening to him.

Nico

I'm worried for Leo. His aura is fading. He's dying. We need to do something. Fast.

Frank

I never really liked Leo. And I know I never really liked having him around. But, I kind of miss him. 

Piper

I can't even see my best friend. And, on top of that, they just expect me to go on with my usual routine. I just want to help in some way. Wait... I have an idea!

Annabeth

Piper bursts through the doors of the Athena cabin, in the middle of an argument between an Apollo camper and an Athena camper.

"I have an idea!" She shouts, causing everyone to shut up and sit up straighter.

"Yes?" I ask, tired and worn out. Whatever her idea is, we've probably already thought of it. And pointed out why it won't work.

"What if, you got each cabin to find out about diseases related to THEIR cabin, that way more diseases are looked at!" She excitedly speaks.

"Umm, but how will they know what to look for?" An Apollo cabin asked skeptically.

"Just give them some symptoms, and behavior stuff. Then tell them a little bit about what's going on with him." Piper replies, annoyed.

I thoughtfully debate the pros and cons of the idea.

"It could work." I say, speaking out loud.

This results in a lot of arguing. 

"All in favor of Piper's idea say yay. If not, nay." About three fourths of the group say yay. The others, nay.

"Fine." The Apollo camper, Dylan I think, huffs.

By the end of the day, all of the cabins are scouring any and all information. Chiron excused everyone from activities for the week, in order to help. Please work. Leo's life may depend on it.

I'm bleary eyed, and tired, by the time most of my cabin has gone to sleep. I refuse to give up. I won't sleep until Leo is okay. I click on another link. And find something big...
