Will

I put another cold compress on Leo's forehead, and sigh. I hold back tears. I'm supposed to be the doctor here. But I have no idea what to do. Leo might die. Because I COULDN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIM. If he dies it's my fault.

I choke out a shaky sob.

"I'm so sorry.." I whisper to him, taking his hand.

"WILL! I KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIM!" Piper sprints into the infirmity, hair flying. My face must register a little of the shock I'm feeling, because she looks at me and pats my back.

"It's no wonder we didn't find it. We had been looking at more of the medical/physical diseases. But it is ACTUALLY an emotional distress disease. It has all of the symptoms. And a cure!" She practically wakes up the whole camp on the last sentence.

"What? What is it?!" I frantically shake her.

"It's called the Sueva Ginnesee Disease!" She says. "It is your bodies way of coping with EXTREME emotional, mental, and physical pain. It has multiple stages. By trying to keep it bottled up, it leads to multiple different tendencies and things like that. There's depression, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, stuff like that," she says, her voice slowly losing her enthusiasm, "Then it leads to being to much for your body to deal with, causing your nervous system, muscles, brain, heart, and other stuff to become agitated and it starts creating PHYSICAL pain. Thus the spazzing out." She informs me. "But honestly, though it all seems right, I don't know if this is it. This would mean having to be in such a broken state, and come on, it's Leo we're talking about. We know him. And I don't get it. But, I think we should try the cure." She says everything in a rush. But slowly her words make her frown.

"What's the cure?" I ask.

"You have to help release the pain. You have to find the source of your stress, and fix it. Or, if it has happened before, and somebody helped you, then that person just has to be near you. But this hasn't happened before.. So, actually, there is no cure this far in. He can't speak to us. " She turns pale. "Leo is going to die."

(On Olympus)

"We can't let him die!" Hera yells.

"We can't intervene!" Screams Athena.

"It's not allowed! I FORBID IT!" Zeus's thunderous voice echoes throughout the room.

"We can't let him die!" Hestia, usually the calm neutral one, screeched. Truth be told, she had grown rather fond of the young misunderstood hero.

"I'm the healer here! And I say we should heal him!" Apollo demands.

"He is going to die someday! Why not today!" Hades argued.

"Please Zeus! My husband! My love! Please, let me help the boy. I have a plan. Please, my love." Hera started crying and begging Zeus. Zeus looked uncomfortable.

He cleared his throat.

"Erm.. I don't know.." Zeus mumbled.

"Please!" Hera pleaded, getting down on her knees. She raised her hands. "My love! PLEASE!"

This shocked all of the gods into silence. Hera. The queen. On her knees.

It stayed silent for several minutes.

Zeus looked like he was having a raging war of emotion inside.

"Fine." He finally agreed. Hera shakily stood up. She started to walk towards the door.

"Hera, wait!" Yelled I very high pitched voice in the back. Aphrodite. "I have an idea, too. Can we try mine? It's been so long since I've had such an interesting game!"

Hera looked annoyed.

"Hera.." Zeus warned. Nobody could resist Aphrodite.

"Fine."

"Yay! Thanks!" She squealed. She poofed off of Olympus. Off to do a bit of dirty work.
