I woke up freezing my butt off to death probably on the verge of hypothermia. As I began to sit up and become aware of my surroundings, I realized my stupid brain had decided to fall asleep on the roof without a blanket in only my shorts and shirt that barely kept me warm throughout the night.

The conversation from last night with Luke instantly brought a smile to my face while I started to get ready for school. I finally have a gig! Business had been pretty difficult in the past few months and finding a decent gig was as difficult as going to med school, no kidding. I was really starting to appreciate Luke and his faith in me but at the same time the pressure of living up to his expectations lay somewhere there as well.

Getting up, I rushed to get ready and put on a warm hoodie with ripped jeans, converse and tied my hair up in a messy bun. A while after Izzy joined me downstairs as we hungrily devoured our healthy breakfast left by our dearest mother and headed for school.

Hopping out of my brothers Mercedes, I spotted Simon and Zion chatting excitedly making me wonder what they were so hyped about. As Izzy and I began making our way towards them, my eyes locked with Simon's and instantly his breath taking smile appeared on his face while he suddenly ran towards me, engulfing me in a hug while spinning me around.

"I made it into the team Trish. I did it!" he screamed while continuing to spin me. Amused by his joy and excitement, I started to laugh and hug him back tightly.

"I knew for sure you would. Didn't doubt you for a second there," I said as I pulled back a little and winked subtly at him, causing Simon to chuckle and put me down slowly with his hands still tightly wrapped around my waist. We continued to smile stupidly at each other unaware of the audience our little celebration had attracted.

The deliberate clearing of someone's throat managed to break us from our little moment and focus our attention on the pissed voice of the intruder.
"I think the rest of the school will thank you if you and your boyfriend managed to find a room to cuddle and romance in next time monkey," said Zayn in an annoyed voice as a few people around us chuckled and laughed. His eyes seemed to be fixed on Simon and his hands around me with a permanent glare etched onto his face.

"Not every guys I talk to is my boyfriend Zayn, and for god's sake I have a name! Use it," I said with a defeated sigh trying to get the point through that thick brain of his. That boy will never get over it will he? Simon, still in a pretty confused state, slowly let go of me and stared disapprovingly at Zayn. Please please please don't create a scene Mendoza. Not today.

"Maybe you should focus on using your brain more in choosing where to display PDA with your boyfriends next time," he replied, glaring at me know.

"Huh?" I asked not quite getting the point.

Rolling his eyes he pushed his way between Simon and I and made his way to the locker which we were apparently covering when realization hit me. Ohhh his locker.

"Er-um, okay sorry. My bad," I said slightly flushed at the idea of me creating a scence instead of him as it usually is. I flashed him an awkward apologetic smile as he galnced back at us while I quickly grabbed Simon's hand and dragged him away from the enemies territory.

Chuckling Simon asked, "What's his deal?"

Rolling my eyes I answered, "Oh you know the usually, always has a permanent stick stuck up his ass," laughing at the thought as we walked towards our first class.

When we entered the chemistry labs I rushed to take my seat beside to Lyla hoping we weren't late, while Simon took the seat at the table behind me next and Dave Carrel, a good friend of mine and probably the smartest nerd in our school- no offense to him. Fifteen minutes after the teacher arrived and class had started, the door was abruptly openned to draw our attention to queen Blair Andrew's gracing us with her presence, dressed in a tight mini skirt and white camisole with black stilettos. How typical over her to turn up fashionably late to AP chem I wondered.
