Ethan and I looked at each other.

"I think he set up a trap." I said. He nodded.

"I agree. What was he talking about, though? Who wants me to be their father?" He asked, and I thought about it for a minute.

"I'm not sure. When I was sent in, I was only given vague details. I was just told that an active bioweapon was here, nothing else." I said. He sighed.

"Well, I suppose we had better go face him. We need that key." He said. I nodded. Ethan loaded up his handgun, and I loaded up the shotgun I had managed to get, after retrieving the Scorpion Key from down here.

"Ready?" I asked him. He nodded.

"Ready." He said, and we headed down into the main area. We found the dog head key, sitting on a hook and wrapped in barbed wire. I scoffed.

"Talk about an obvious trap. Does Jack think that we're stupid?" I asked, and he laughed a little.

"Apparently he does." He said. He went ahead and grabbed the dog head, and Jack grabbed us and knocked us down onto the lower floor. Ethan kept Jack occupied while I scurried around and got some supplies. Once I got back to Ethan, Jack had grabbed two chainsaws placed together like scissors! Once he began going after Ethan with them, I grabbed the other chainsaw and went after Jack with it. It didn't take us long to take him down.

"You're both gonna die here!!" He cried, before he...Eugghh! I shuddered.

"Yuck!!" I said. Ethan was breathing heavily.

"Do me a favor, and stay. Dead!" He said. We finally got out of the lower area, and went up to the main floor, putting the keys in place and making it outside. We saw a trailer, and that's where we headed. A phone inside the trailer rang, and Ethan answered it while I got supplies and tried to gather information about what all was going on here. I barely understood it myself! Once he hung up the phone, I looked back at him.

"Was it Zoe?" I asked, and he looed at me.

"You know her?"

"Only by phone calls. She's called me to try and help me out a few times, but I couldn't do everything that needed to be done by myself. Where are we headed?" I asked.

"The Old House, she said. You know where that is?" He asked. I nodded.

"Yep. It's just over the bridge to the left of the trailer. But we need to be careful. That's where Marguerite wanders when she isn't doing something with the family. If you thought Jack was bad, she's worse. Harder to dodge around, I mean. It's like she has eyes everywhere!" I said. He nodded.

"Alright. Let's go. She tell you about the serum?" He asked.

"Mhm. I tried to get into the Old House to look around, but I couldn't even make it inside without Marguerite catching me." I said. He nodded again, and with that, we headed out. We made our way into the Old House, and began looking around, and, eventually, were able to put together a home made flamethrower! I looked at him. "Okay, Ethan. Do you want the flamethrower? Or, I can take it and give you the shotgun. That way, I can take care of the bugs and the nests, and you can grab supplies?" I suggested.

"Yeah, that'll work." He said, so, I handed him the shotgun and took the flamethrower. We continued through the house, and I cleared out a bugs nest over a vent opening. Ethan and I crawled through, and into a hallway with a stair case. We went down it and soon into a separate room, where I found another statue used to activate a shadow lock.

"Ethan?" We both turned to where the fence was and saw a woman looking at us! He went right up to the fence.

"No more bullcrap, Mia, I want answers!" He said. Ohh, she was his wife, Mia!

"I know, I know, and I always wanted to tell you, but I can only remember a little, and the rest is just gone!" She said, then turned her attention towards me. "Who are you?" She asked.

"Carter Kennedy. I was sent in here three years ago on recon, and got caught. Ethan and I have been helping each other. He needed to find you, and I have a family that I need to get back to." I said. She was about to say something when the Baker's son, Lucas, grabbed her from behind!

"Hey, Daddy, right? You mind if I, uh, borrow Mommy for a bit?" He dragged her to the door. "Well don't just stand there. Do something!"

"Ethan, help!" And he shut the door. Ethan cursed as we made our way out of the room. I placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Hey. We're gonna get her back. I promise." I said. He nodded, and we continued on. We finally found the right key to open the door to the second floor, but when we went up there, Marguerite surprised us.

"I told you to stay out of here!!" She screamed, grabbing us both, and throwing us down into a pit. Ethan was quick to take care of her, and we climbed out of the pit, and got onto the second floor, however, we need Marguerite's light to get into the rest of the floor. A watch that Ethan had been wearing opened a brief case in the area of the second floor that we had been able to get into. It held...something, I couldn't tell what it was. It looked humanoid. There was a paper on the inside, detailing a serum.

"A D-Series head and arm? What the..." I mumbled. Zoe called again, and Ethan told her what we had found. Turns out, she had the D-Series head! So, we headed back to the pit to get Marguerite's light. Her light was there, but she wasn't. Suddenly, a long arm reached out from a hole, and grabbed her light, pulling it in! We jumped down and looked into the cavern to see her, going through it...like a spider.

"What the...? That's special." He said, and I nodded.

"Yep. Well...let's go." I said. We followed her through, and came to another area of the house. Once we got inside, it felt as though we were being watched. It didn't take us long to find Marguerite, and, when we did....you don't want to know. It took everything in me not to throw up at the sight! We were able to take her down as well. However, unlike Jack, she turned to, what looked like, stone, and fell apart! I grabbed her light, and we headed back to the Old House, and got into the rest of the second floor. We walked into, what appeared to be, a kids room, and I saw a drawing on the floor. I picked it up. "My family..." I read, then turned it over. "Eveline..." I mumbled.

"It's a kids drawing." Ethan said, and I nodded. We continued on and made it out of the kids room. We went down a hallway, and were going to a door at the end of the hallway, when, suddenly, everything went dark.

"...Stay away!"
