My eyes gather the sight infront of me with a feeling of deja vu washing over me, as I step out of Kenneth's car. Loud music blasts inside Jamie's house, and the place holds a light odour of alcohol.

My mind scrambles back to the clear memory, which keeps surfacing every now and then, of my first arrival to the place I am about to enter.

Kenneth walks around his car to come to me. He secures an arm around my waist, lowering his mouth to my ear.

"I know what you are thinking," he shouts, to be heard over the music.

"What?"

"About last time we were here. The day we met," he grins.

The day I became the fake girlfriend of Mason Young.

"How can I forget," I say, smiling up at him.

His grin widens and he gently leads me forward, towards the house.

The stink of alcohol intensifies as we approach Jamie, who welcomes us into the party. Lights are dimmed inside the house to give it a night-like look, despite it being broad day outside.

The couches and chairs are pushed against the walls to clear a part at the center of the living room, as a dance floor. And, guys from the football team are celebrating their victory in champagne.

"For the Pumas!" they cheer, smacking the bottles in their hands together.

Jamie pulls Kenneth to the center, to join the other players.

"To Williams!" they drink out of the bottles, letting out a victorious whoop.

"And Young!"

"And Everyone!"

They cheer some more, chugging down contents in their bottles.

The music, which has dimmed down for some time, now raise higher, bringing the party into full life.

Kenneth squashes through the crowd, paving his way towards me. He lifts a bottle of beer in the air, performing a little happy dance. I laugh out loud at how funny it looks.

"Congratulations," I say with a smile.

He flashes back his charming smile, which I have grown accustomed to, by now. Slinging an arm around my shoulders, he drags me further into the party. We sweep between crowds of students, engaged in laughter and loud talking, to finally reach the kitchen.

Kenneth gives me a look, wearing an amused smirk. He points to a counter which contains many glasses filled with cola, and no doubt, spiked.

"There," he smiles, "the exact spot."

The memory of Rhea walking up to me demanding me to stay away from Mason, fills my mind. Her slap. And then the first ever sighting of Kenneth's Earth-like orbs.

I look into them again and a strange sensation pushes its way down my spine.

"Thanks," I say, but my voice flows out in a whisper.

"What for?" I can feel his smile on my ear.

"For saving me that day. From Rhea."

His lips stretch with another of his charming grins. A faraway look crosses his eyes for a second before he looks down at me.

"That was sort of my favorite part," he winks, "The knight in shinning armour."

I laugh at the implication, shaking my head at how funny it looks. He has always played the knight in shinning armour to my damsel in distress. Let it be anything with Rhea or Mason, he always shows up for my rescue.
