When I open my eyes next, I am right infront of a huge mansion that has some party going on in full blast. Loud music plays in the background and the air reeks of alcohol.

"Where are we?" I whisper, mostly to myself, but with the sudden snap of Mason's head in my direction, I know that he heard it.

"Jamie's place. After-game party," he says.

A party? After they lost?

He probably read my mind for some sort of funny expression crosses his eyes.

"We never knew that we'd loose when we ordered the pizza," he says, shuffling out of the car and indicating me to follow him.

I anxiously walk to his side and he runs his arm around my shoulder and pulls me to him. It sends a million of unending shudders down my spine.

"You're my girlfriend, remember? So you should always be happy around me," he says in a lower voice.

I nod like crazy, without even realizing what he said. But when I do, I plaster a huge fake smile on my lips and manage to look happy.

"Good!" he hisses, breaking into a smile. Fake.

My mind begins to spin in all angles as we walk towards the door. The air is horrible and just breathing it in is making me dizzy. And gosh, Mason's perfume! I find it hard to believe that he had time to shower and change into a casual outfit in a matter of ten or so minutes. But here he is trying to clog my nose with his perfume.

I try to hold my smile, despite the fact that it's becoming more fake each second. Mason waves at Jamie, one of his teammates and the host of the party, who walks over to us and invites us in.

We pave our way through drunk kids and finally come upon some living area where the music is the loudest. Mason's eyes scan the crowd and I know what he is looking for. Rhea.

He spots her among a set of girls dancing to the music in the center of the room. He then turns to me with a charming smile.

Suddenly, my insides feel like liquid and my stomach does a strange twist. Gosh, I've never had such a smile directed at me!

It takes me a few seconds to remind myself why this is happening at all. Rhea. I notice out of the corner of my eyes that she is making her way over to us. I guess that Mason is aware of it too, because without any warning his lips crash onto mine.

My body goes stiff and my breathing gets a bit rapid than what I want it to be.

"When I kiss you, make sure that you kiss back!"

His warning comes back to me in full force despite my mind going blank at the feeling of his lips on mine. Despite the zero experience I have regarding the matter at hand, I do my best to make it look like I am kissing him back.

Wow... It is oddly all that I can think of right now. Mason's lips make me feel vulnerable and I find myself liking it, apart from the fact that it is scaring me to death.

He pulls back slowly and rests his head on mine, his eyes still shut. I can imagine what is going on in his mind right now - that this is the most terrible kiss forever. I sincerely have to accept the fact that I am quite 'new' to that department.

He slowly opens his eyes, and with the numerous colors of disco lights that's spinning in the background, his eyes look like a rainbow. Part of me is afraid of them by instinct, and the other part is intrigued. I have no idea why.

His fingers caress my jaw and his eyes stare into mine, and both of us are just waiting for Rhea to see us. Just when the intensity of his gaze is becoming almost unbearable, I hear someone scoff behind me.
