"Oh! We're gonna need to find a safe place to set down, Gideon." Rip ordered as the waverider appeared in 2166 lazer blasters firing in every direction within the sky. Clarity slammed her eyes shut squeezing her eyelids together as tightly as she could. Her hand gripped the metal strap over her chest lightning buzzing around the metal where her hand was making contact. Her senses going into overdrive as she was assaulted with the countless hums of future tech all around her.

"I don't believe there are any safe places, Captain." Gideon answered as lasers fired from every which direction near the ship. The sounds of explosions reverberating around the craft.

"Are we over London yet?" Martin demanded.

"What's left of it." Rip replied a bit of a sigh to his voice.

"Why's London shooting at us?"Jax complained throwing his arms out in annoyance.

"It's Savage's forces that are doing the shooting." Rip corrected. "Here in 2166, they've subjugated most of the globe."

"Maybe picking up here wasn't the brightest idea." Sara pointed out as the waverider was shaken from a nearby blast the ship jostling a bit.

"It's plenty bright, I think that's the problem." Todd winced as the bright bomb blasts forced him to cover his eyes or run the risk of going blind.

"Unfortunately, we no longer have the luxury of blindly searching for Savage throughout history." Martin reminded.

"Indeed," Rip agreed with Martin. "We have to target Savage at the time and place that we're certain he will be, which is-"

"Right before he wastes your family." Mick bluntly supplied earning him glances from almost everyone. "What?"

"Yes, Mr.Rory, Savage will kill my wife and son in three days' time, but we can save them and the world by stopping Savage now." Rip firmly replied. He would not lose them again, he wasn't't sure if he'd be able to take it if he did. This was his last chance.

"Captain, I've managed to slip beneath their artillery fire." Gideon informed him the ship thrashing as it took a nasty hit.

"Set us down on the outskirts of the city, Gideon, near the encampment of the remaining resistance forces. We are going to need to proceed swiftly." Rip ordered already up and out of his seat before the rest of the team could even lift their straps up.

"I realize your family is in jeopardy, but perhaps some deliberation" Martin began as he stood up but Rip was quick to cut him off.

"We really don't have the time, Martin. According to Gideon, Savage is going to be out in the open tonight vulnerable. Now, in order to capture him, I require the services of -"

"A killer, klepto, and pyro?" Mick finished.

"Bingo." Rip confirmed with a nod.  "Miss Spring's once we're ready I'll need you to-" Rip cut himself off as he set his eyes on Clarity just now realizing she wasn't standing like everyone else. The metahuman remained sitting in her chair. Her hands now gripping the edges of the silver seat a faint blue glow emanating from her palms where lightning was no doubt whirring underneath her hands. Her entire body was trembling and her head was angled down so she looked at the floor. "Clarity? Are you alright?"

"Uh...ye-no, well....Maybe?" Clarity struggled to reply unsure of the answer herself. She didn't move to look up her eyes still closed as she attempted to concentrate on her powers.

"Flick, What's wrong?" Todd frowned growing worried. Something was off if Clarity was sitting down, she hated these chairs.

"We're in 2166." Clarity replied as if that answered everything. "We've never gone this far into the future before now."
