I-

I'm just-

Okay-

So like-

Ugh.

Alright readers so here's what happened. I made a plan, I made an attempt to execute said plan, but school occurred and naturally that plan went off the rails. So, this is me....throwing away the plan (and like the majority of the script cause there was just way to much stupidity revolving around Ray, Kendra and Carter) and updating now. So enjoy!!! And thanks for being so patient and understanding and everything. I know it's been a wicked long time. I'm not even going to apologize this time because a five letter word seriously isn't going to make up for all these months of no updates, but I hope 7,010 words will! Cause that's how many words are in this chapter. Don't forget to vote and comment!

Oh, and by the way I missed you all so, so, so much!!

"Savages forces are closing in! We don't have time for this!" A freckle skinned woman snapped looking around her in worry. Her frizzy red curls threatened to block her vision as the night time wind blew them every which way. The gun in her hands shook betraying her emotions as she stood in a giant crater among the remains of the leviathan. Green eyes darted around the wide open space for threats. There were none, yet. Savage's forces would no doubt be converging on this location and she was eager to leave. She hadn't even wanted to come this close to the wreckage, but she never got what she wanted.

"I saw her...I know I saw her." A man spoke more to himself than to his companion his head whipping wildly to each large chunk of metal that lay smoking upon the ground. The black goggles over his eyes glinted reflecting the never ending laser fire that shot through the sky. A red scrap of fabric was tied over his mouth to protect his lungs from the smoky air. He sifted through the debris in determination. Only one woman was powerful enough to single handedly take down the leviathan like that. He had seen that lightning, as blue as he remembered it to be, it had to be her.

"Saw who? Damnit P!" The woman protested once more as she ducked down. One of Savage's search drone's scanning the area for survivors. While it was looking away she threw a small circular device at it. As soon as it made contact with it's target the droid's camera blipped it's feed going on a loop of the wreckage showing no life forms. "We have to leave. Now! This place is about to be crawling with soldiers."

"Here! There's someone under here. It might be her. M, help me." The man ordered addressing the woman he was with as he chucked smaller pieces of debris off of the large one.

"Nothing could have survived that blast, we need to go." M reaffirmed as she begrudgingly helped move the rubble. Why they were pausing to dig out a corpse was beyond her. This was wartime. There wasn't time for such things.

"Glitch could." P denied, his answer instantaneous, spoken without a second of hesitation.

"What?" M asked in disbelief. Now he was just making up words. The fumes must be going to his head. He should really trash that old neckerchief of his. It really wasn't doing it's job anymore.

"Glitch," P repeated sounding exasperated as M had paused in her movements. "M, you're right, we don't have time to stand around, but I'm not leaving without her. If she's here that means they're back and we have an actual chance of-" He cut himself off with a shake of his head. They didn't have time for him to get into everything here and now. "You lift this and I'll pull her out."

M nodded, albeit reluctantly, placing her hands on the sharp metal edge. Her partner squated down low to the ground. M lifted the large sheet of metal that had once been a piece of the leviathan's face. The man pulled out the individual trapped underneath. M had expected a fried blackened corpse and yet the woman in her partners hold was anything but. In fact, she looked as normal as either of them.
