This one is a bit angsty, with fluff.
I know it's short, I'll make longer Jalyx one shots in the future.
They were fighting again and Alyx was tired of it. This was the third time in this week.
"Jenn, please" Alyx says "I know it's hard, but we can't hide this forever"
"Alyx you don't understand!" Jenn raises her voice. Her neighbors will probably complain again. "I love you, okay? But I'm not ready to tell people"
"Jenn that's what you told me six months ago, but nothing has changed. You haven't even tried tell anyone!" Alyx raises her voice. She came out because she didn't want to hide anymore and now she has to do it anyway.
"Alyx, why are you trying to force me to come out!"
"I AM TRYING TO HELP YOU! But you clearly don't want help. You want to lie to everyone. You would want to have a fake boyfriend just so people won't notice that you like girls. But you see Jenn, people have already noticed. People ship us Jenn! They accept you the way you are and your parents will too! Why do you so badly want to hide?!"
Jenn didn't respond to that, she just stared at her. "Why do you want to hide Jenn?" Alyx says, her voice softer than before. "I-I don't know" Jenn whispers, tears streaming down her face. "I'm just scared, okay? I get that you want to tell people and that you don't want to hide, but I am really scared of what people are gonna say" Jenn says, wiping her own tears away, desperately trying to stop crying.
Alyx puts her arms around her and pulls her close. "Shhh, it's okay baby, it's okay" She whispers while she kisses her on the top her head. "I'll help you okay? I'll always be there for you, I won't let people hurt you" Alyx whispers reassuringly.
Jenn calmed down a little and eventually stopped crying. Her eyes are still red and puffy. Alyx holds her as close as she can.
It hurts her to see her girlfriend so small and hurt. Jenn still feels scared, but she knows Alyx will always have her back.
She snuggles into Alyx' sweater.
"I love you" Jenn murmurs.
"I love you too Pennifer" Alyx whispers. "It's gonna be okay, trust me"
