AU: No storm, no Jeffershit, Rachel is still alive. Nathan doesn't have any contact with his parents anymore. Max and Nathan are 22
I wake up at around 10 in the morning. The sunlight shines through the cracks in the blinds. Nate is lying next to me on the bed, snoring lightly. I grab my journal and a pen out my shoulder bag. I start writing about the things that have happened this week. Writing is my way of letting my feelings out, else I'll boil over.
So, a few days ago I was at a college party. Rachel and Chloe dragged me there because they thought I needed to be more social. Mind you, I don't like parties, the music is too loud and there are too many people. An hour into the party, while I'm sitting on a sofa and Rachel and Chloe are probably making out somewhere, I notice something out of the corner of my eye, or rather someone.
Nathan Prescott.
My crush for the entire time I was at Blackwell. He may have been a rich asshole, but I always felt like there was something more about him. And he's obviously cute and handsome. But, we never really talked. I only knew that he was Victoria's bestie. But now, he was sitting on stool a few feet away from me. I can't help but check him out (I was a bit tipsy) But then he turned his head in my direction. We have eye contact and he cocks his head in the direction of the stairs and gets up, walking to the stairs. I also get up, following him. Let's just say that we had a lot of fun that night ;).
The next morning I woke up next to him. We were both naked, laying on a random bed at this house party. At first I panicked, but then he woke up and we talked about it. He calmed me down. We went on a date yesterday. He's such a gentleman :).
I think-
I feel Nathan stir beside me. "Good morning" I say. "Good morning Max" His groggy morning voice sounds incredibly cute. He cuddles into my side. I put away my journal and cuddle him back. He starts making circles on my back with his thumb. It's so peaceful. "You know Max, there is no place in this world where I would rather be than here, lying next to you" he says, looking into my eyes. "I feel that way too"
