"Oh my god. I'm probably going to be the luckiest guy there tonight, just because I'll be seen with you guys!" Will says, looking at us.
Christina has just finished doing our hair and makeup, and we put our dresses on before meeting him outside of the room.
Tris's hair was up in a bun on her head, and she was wearing mascara that made her look mature. Christina had her hair down since it was so short, but she had purple streaks in it and was also wearing mascara. I had my hair down so that it cascaded over my shoulders in curls. My eyelashes had mascara on them, and my eyes were outlined with eyeliner, causing the blue in them to pop.
"Oh, stop it." Christina jokes, and walks around him. "C'mon, I don't want to be late for the party!"
Will takes Christina's arm and starts leading her down the hallway towards the Pit where music is currently blasting. I don't know the song, but I do like the beat.
Al isn't with us. I was a little concerned at first, considering he's been acting weird lately, but then Will told me he hasn't been feeling the best lately.
I spot Four over in the corner drinking a beer with some other members if Dauntless. I frown for a second, before straightening my features out. I didn't know he drank.
We walk by them, heading over towards Uriah and his group of friends when a voice stops me.
"Crystal?"
I turn to see who it was, but don't see anyone. I do see that Tris is talking to Tobias, who is currently smiling at her. How sweet.
I hear the voice again. "Crystal? Over here."
I turn my head in the direction of the voice, my hair flying behind me. My eyes widen in shock when I see the person.
"Eric?" I ask confusedly, furrowing my eyebrows. What does he want? Did I do something wrong?
"Crystal, you look...amazing." Eric says slowly, looking me up and down, causing shivers to run down my body. Not unpleasant ones though.
"Um, thanks. You look good too." I say, and he does. He's wearing a tight black t-shirt that shows off his toned body, and a pair of black pants that give him a casual look.
He gives me a small smile and takes a swig of the beer he has in his hand. He swallows, his adams Apple bobbing up and down almost nervously. "Hey, I've been meaning to talk to you about something..."
I lick my dry lips. "Yeah? What about?"
His eyes dart down to my mouth when I lick them, and then back up at my eyes. His gray ones connect with my blue ones, and I watch his pupils dialate.
"So, I've been thinking... and-"
"Crystal!"
I groan inwardly. Tobias calls my name, and I turn my head to see him gesturing to follow him out the hallway. I look back at Eric, apologizing with my eyes.
He looks irritated, his eyes glaring at Tobias's back. His eyes flicker down to me for a second before looking back up. "Well, what are you waiting for. Go."
I open my mouth to say something, but Eric turns and walks away before I can get a word out. I sigh. I never got to hear what he was going to say.
I roll my eyes. It probably wasn't even something that big of importance. If it's important, he'll tell me some other time.
