Chapter 4: Relief

We heard voices. THEIR voices. "Oh shit" I whispered/yelled at Jess. She just kept trying to dry our tails off. "I wonder where they went." I heard Nash say. "I don't know. They couldn't have gone that far." Matt said. We were almost dried off. I crossed my fingers and hoped they wouldn't come any closer to us.

Then I heard someone coming closer. Shizzzz. "Well, we fucked up." I heard Matt say and sit down ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROCK. My eyes widened and I turned to Jess and she had wide eyes too.

Then, finally our tails were completely dry and our legs sprouted and we were relieved. We both stood up.

"Looking for us?" Jess said and smirked. All of their heads snapped towards us. "Found them!" Taylor said. I giggled and said, "sorry we ran off." "Nah, it's fine. It was our fault." Matt said standing up and brushing the sand off of him.

"Hey, what time is it?" I ask. Taylor pulls out his phone "3:20-" "We gotta go." I cut Taylor off. I could see them all frown a little. "Ok, but you can't leave without these." Matt says and smirks as he holds up me and Jess' bags. "Ok, then give them to us," I say and try to snatch it out of his hands but he holds it up higher. Why do I have to be so fucking short?

Yeah, I was 16 and 5ft 3in and Jess was 15 5ft 2in. So basically everyone towers over us.

"Matt please. If we don't get back in time well get yelled at" "Oh well." He says and smiles. "Your such a bitch." I say and smile. He "flips" his hair and smacks his gum. "Whatever." I say and start to walk away.

Then I whip around and snatch the bags. We left our boards at the beach under a rock.

Now that I got the bags I hand Jessica hers. "We will be taking our leave now." Aw we were walking away, taylor tapped me on the shoulder. He was holding out his phone "And I'll be taking your number." He said and smirked. Jesus Christ Taylor. I giggled and entered my number in his phone. "Happy now?" He nods and I start walking again. I turned to talk to Jessica but she was talking with Shawn. I was watching them an Jess blushed and looked down. I smiled and yelled "LOVEBIRDS BREAK IT UP!!" She looked over and scowled at me. She said bye to Shawn and walked over to me.

"I fucking hate you." I rolled my eyes "someone has a wittle crush on Shawny boyyy" I said in a baby voice. She looked away to hide her blush but I still saw it.

Soon enough we reached the other side of the island. "On three" "1...2....3!" Jess said and we jumped in. The water surrounded my body and I simply smiled and looked next to me to see Jess swimming off. I followed her and we were off to land again.
