Daniel's POV
When I woke up I noticed that I was still inside my coffin, and could just make out what the people outside were saying, the were discussing which person they're going to sell my body to, and what they're going to do with me until they find a buyer and until the buyer arrives, so I knew that I had to find a way to escape.
I took off all of my jewelry and then opened the lid a little bit, but I didn't get a chance to see where everyone was, because one of my grave robbers opened the lid all the way, grabbed me by my shirt and threw me five feet away from the coffin onto the cold hard ground.
"You're alive!?" Tyler asks, surprised.
"Surprise bitches!"
"We can't sell him now, unless we kill him." Jackson implies.
"You want to kill me? Fine. You can kill me in hand to hand combat, so empty your pockets right now and throw away any hidden guns and knives. I don't want any of you cheating."
"Why are we even wasting our time talking to this scumbag!?" Christopher wonders. "When we can just kill him right now."
Christopher took out his glock, aimed it at my head and fired, luckily I got out of the line of fire right as he was squeezing the trigger.
"You little chickenshits know that if you go up against me in hand to hand combat you'll lose, that's why you're using guns, and that's why you have Oscar behind me with throwing knives ready and waiting if I try anything."
"How the fuck did you know that!?" Kage queries.
"That's not the only thing I know. Now let's get this over with."
"Fine!"

10 minutes later...
"You want to do this hand to hand, then let's do it! Just so you know you're out numbered. It's fifteen against one."
"I'm not worried. After all I fought in the war. So how are we doing this?"
All of my grave robbers charged at me.
"Looks like we're doing it the hard way."
I just stayed where I was and when the time came I delivered two uppercuts, one to Gerald and one to Christopher.
Straight after that, I was knocked down to the floor, and everyone started whaling on me, luckily I was protecting my face, this went on for a few minutes until I swept everyone's leg from under them. That's when I took out my secret weapon, my brass knuckles, and started punching everyone as hard as I could, but my fury didn't last long because it was countered by Alex, who gut punched me and then shoved me all the way to the wall.
Since I had a feeling someone was running at me I counted to three and moved out of the way right in the nick of time.
"Have fun with that busted kneecap Oscar."
"One down, fourteen to go. Do you guys want to give up?"
"Never!"
"Suit yourselves. Don't say I didn't warn you."

5 hours later...
"Fourteen down, one to go. Give up now Christopher, you're not going to win. Everyone else is unconscious."
I spat out some blood and wiped away any blood that was on my face.
Christopher ran up to me as fast as he could, and I did the same to him. Since I knew what he was going for, I did a baseball slide and sent him flying to the ground face first.
"Don't mess with a war hero Christopher."
I spat out more blood and wiped away some more. I approached Christopher, picked him up and delivered five F-5's to him and to finish him off I delivered a devastating claymore kick to him.
Once that was over and done with, I put my jewelry back on and left the warehouse, and since I didn't know who gave me the jewelry or why, I thought about pawning it all, but something was in my mind was telling me to keep it, and I wasn't sure why.

5 days later...
I was finally discharged from the hospital and decided to take a little walk in a random direction. I took out my phone and started to play and sing along to some of the music I had on my phone.

Later...
I noticed a for sale sign in the front lawn of the house I used to visit very frequently, but I wanted to know why is was up for sale, but I wasn't sure how I would go about in doing that.
I could kind of remember what happened in this area but a lot of stuff is just cloudy.
So I decided to take a look through the photos I had on my phone to see if that would help refresh my memory, but it didn't.
Since I didn't want it to look like I was planning on robbing a house that was for sale I just continued on my way.

A/N: I know what you're all thinking, why am did I choose to have Daniel's memories erased, right? Well the answer to your question is that it's meant to be, because it's also important for the third book to take place. Which will be published after I'm done all 50 chapters for this book. And this chapter is kind of hard to write because I want Daniel and Grayson back together as much as you do, but that's going to have to wait. Now back to the story.

Later that day...
"Daniel? Is that you?"
"Who's asking?"
"You don't remember me? You came to visit me when I was in the hospital getting surgery for my cleft palate. And bought me that PS4."
"Well I wasn't sure if you were a fan of Microsoft or Sony, so I bought you a PS4."
"Thank you. And a lot of my friends have a PS4 as well, so thanks for that wonderful gift."
"You're welcome Austin."
"Didn't you die about eight months ago?"
"I did, but I was brought back. So I guess this is my second chance at life."
"Cool. Say, how are Kaden and Alice?"
"I haven't seen them for awhile, but I assume that they're doing well, why? Are you friends with them?"
"Yes, and I haven't seen them in quite sometime. Did they move?"
"Not that I know of. And if it's ok with your mom and dad we can go and visit them."
"Can I go with Daniel to visit my friends please?"
"Sure. Have fun."
"Thanks mom. Thanks dad."
"You're welcome Austin."
I wrote down Tracy's cell number and the address, and gave it to Austin's parents.
"That's Tracy's phone number, Kaden and Alice's Aunt and the address where I'm taking Austin."
"Thanks."
"You're welcome. And don't worry about Austin, I'll keep him safe."
"We know, and thanks."
"You're welcome."

Later...
"Well here you go Austin. Have fun with Kaden and Alice."
"You're not coming with me?"
"Not this time buddy. And can you do me a favour and not mention to anyone that I'm alive, especially my kids. Because I want to surprise them."
"I promise that I won't tell a soul."
"Thanks."
"You're welcome."
As Austin was walking towards the front door, I got out of sight, and watched as he was greeted by my kids who immediately invited him inside. Once the door was shut I decided to start my journey. My journey to find my friends Grayson and Chandler Riggs.
I hope that I'll be able to find them, if not then I guess I'll either have to try harder, or I'll just have to forget about them. So it's now or never. I'll find them...somehow.
