Good Things (Sal x Mermaid! Reader)

This was requested by -Suga-Bear-  . This was a little bit challenging and it was fun to do it. This oneshot rewinded me of Little Mermaid.

(Y/n) p.o.v.

Life started being boring to me. I already knew all the places so I couldn't find something new and also living under water it's not really that fun how other people think.

I went to my father.
"Father?" I asked. I'm waiting for the worst. He can easily say no.

"Yes (y/n)? What is it?"

"Can.. Can I go human's world? I bet there are a lot of amazing places to visit."

He sighed.

"Alright." my eyes widen a little. I cannot belive that he agreed.

"But before take this. This would help you." my father said giving me a necklece. I put the necklece and left not before thanking him.

Now my head was outside of the water. I swam to the ground and like magic my tail became a pair of legs.

I was pretty amazed. As I tried to get up my legs were shaking like hell. It is more hard than it looks like. After many fails I eventually made it.

I sighed glad that I did it.
'Now what do I do?' I thought.
I looked around. Many trees, grass and a lake from where I went.

I sat on the grass, looking at the necklece. It had a little crown and some flowers with many small diamonds.

That made me smile a little. This was my mother necklece. She was taken away when I was a kid. The humans took her and I don't know if my mother is still alive or dead.

A sound made me snap out from my thoughts looking around scared. Nobody. Weird.. then another sound but this time more closer to me.

That started to freak me out. I started screaming as I felt a hand on my shoulder. I hid my face scared. Maybe I will die too...but nothing happen.

I slowly turn my head to scream again. My eyes widen. I never saw a human with that kind of face. It was white and a small part with a pink same as the skin colour.

Sal p.o.v.

Walking at the lake I saw a girl with a white dress on the grass. I went to her to talk. When I put my hand on her shoulder she turned her head, widing her eyes and screaming hiding her face. Maybe she was scared of my prosthetic.

"Hi, I'm Sal." I said. The girl looked at me scared. She seem to understand what I said and she said,
"(Y/n). I'm (y/n)." the girl had bleatiful (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes matching perfectly.

I sat next to her.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her. Her attention was at the lake. After what I said she blinked and answers,
"I don't even know. This world is already scary for me. Why did I thought it would be a good idea." she sighed.

She got up and walked over the lake. She sighed before to go into the lake. When she disappeared in the water I was shoked and scared. What if she wants to kill herself? How she can breathe under the water? If she can.

I looked at the lake seeing (y/n)'s head having a little smile on. She waved at me happily.

"Bye Sal. I hope we will meet in the future." after she said she disappeared in the water.

I am speechless. I blinked a few times. Is this real or fantasy?
I don't know. Too many questions without answer.
