"So how are you feeling?" Ethan asked me and I sighed and shook my head. "Not well... For many reasons." I wince as pain comes from my wound. I bite my lip amd try to calm down and not think of the pain.
"How's Grayson?" He asked with a sigh and I stare into his eyes hard and he drops his head. "He's not, drinking again is he?" He asked and i shook my head.
"No, not that I know of. He used to come home late, not go to work or leave early on the weekends... But he has stopped lately." I confess and I hear ana clear her throat. "Um, I uh, I have to go get some food. You want?" She asks and i shake my head and she rushes out the door and closes it behind her leaving me and Ethan alone.
He grabs my hand tightly and shakes his head. "I-im sorry this keeps happening to you. I'm sorry you are gonna g through this over and over again." He whispered and I squeezed his hand with the strength i had left.
"E its not your fault..." I whisper back and he looks up at me. "You are holding something back Misa. I didnt want to say anything while they were in here But- you can trust me Misa... You know that right?" He whispers and looks up at me with innocent and concerned eyes.
I nod slowly and tuck my hair behind my ear. I let out a slight Laugh and tears start to form in my eyes. I blink them away and wipe my face and smiled.
"Sooo..." He smirks, "what is it you're not telling me. " He asks, his face suddenly serious.
"Um..." I hesitate, looking up from my hands and into his narrow hazel eyes. I blink then bite my lip. "Grayson uh-" I shake my head, " did you know Maggie?" I decided to ask and his face turned serious and he was still. Stone cold.
"Ethan?" I asked and he clenched his jaw and blinked repeatedly then cleared his throat. "Uh, Yea... Maggie um, Yea." He said swallowing hard and took a breath.
"What about her?" He asked in a bitter tone and i took a deep breath. "Um..." I started to cry and bit my lip o old back the tears. "He... He got her pregnant." I said in a shaky and cracking voice. I wipe my eyes and look at him.
"Ethan are y-" "Misa it's time to ea- what's wrong?" Grayson came in with a tray of food and I stay still. "You fucking asshole." Ethan says through gritted teeth and walks up to Grayson, slaps the tray away from his grip and grabs his shirt and pushes up against the door.
"Ethan!" I yelled out and Grayson eyes me then turns his attention to Ethan. "you got her pregnant?! Are you fucking serious?!" He hissed and hit him against the wall again and then let go of him and steps back.
Grayson goes still, glaring at me, and I at him. "Is it true? Or is your wife lying to me?" Ethan asks angrily and Grayson breaks eye contact with me and swallows.
"E i-" "you fucking bitch." He mutters and slams his fist against the wall. "Ethan calm down!" Grayson yells and ethan scoffs, turns to him and gets in his face.
"Calm down? You knocked her up. And now she has a kid." He says and I lift a brow in confusion. "Wait? Why are you upset Ethan?" I ask but his attention is glued to Grayson.
"Maggie was my girlfriend." Ethan finally says and my breath hitches. "We were dating when Grayson came back to London..." He continues and clenches his jaw. "And then one day i find them on the couch... Naked, and out of breath." He whispers the last part and steps closer to Grayson.
My mouth parts and tears run down my face and I swallow hard, the lump in my throat forming and my chest tightens. And I grow angry. "Are you kidding me?" I almost yell and then ana walks in.
"Is everything o-" "oh just shut the fuck up for once in your goddamn life." Grayson snaps and Ana's mouth drops. "Who the fuck do you think you are talking to?" She raises her voice and he smiles. "You obviously." He says and Ana's face goes red.
"Stop!" I say getting out of bed, pain rushing through my body. "I am so fucking tired of going through this shit." I say calmly but angrily and there heads drop. "Grayson, except the fucking fact that you have a fucking son!" I raise my voice a bit but take a breath and calm myself.
"You have a kid?" Ana asks looking at Grayson, her face red and flustered. "Why do you care? Just leave already." He says and ana laughs.
"Oh like you left me-"
She shuts up, her eyes go wide, and Graysons body stiffens...
"What?!" I yell and my voice booms throughout the hospital room.
