Chapter 4

Beep. Beep. Beep

I woke up aggressively to check one of the things I hated most, I kicked my alarm clock down while yawning unfortunately it fell on the stupid floor and broke into pieces. I couldn't even check the time, well their was no need to because I set the time by 5:00am but I don't know why most people have to check their alarm clock each time it rings.

I got off from my bed to clean the mess I made and when I was done, I went to my closet and do my morning rituals and prepare for work. I put on my red chiffon top and a black high waist pencil skirt reaching below my knee cap then I slide my feet in my beige high heel shoe. I made my hair into a messy bun and apply little makeup on my face though I don't really like to. I left my room to make breakfast 'egg and pancake' my favorite.

Lucy stepped down from the stairs sitting opposite to me "Morning sunshine" she said devouring on her food.

"Morning Lucy" that was her favorite too, I can tell we share few things in common. She was eating like one's life depends on it "easy girl before you choke yourself "

"This is delicious, I love it" she said blowing kisses to the air when her mouth was full eww. I checked my wristwatch and Its 6:00am already.

I look down on her plate and she was eating slowly "Lucy you better deal with that, we are running late to work" I yelled at her.

"Duh" she rolled her eyes, eating more slowly. Now she is really pissing me off.

"You are doing that because you are a boss of your own, right?" I fold my arm fuming.

"Yea and nobody is gonna fire her boss, isn't it "she said laughing out loud.

"THIS IS NOT FUNNY!!!" I yelled.

"Sorry ma'am, we can go now" she stood up immediately grabbing her bag. Drama queen.

Lucy was from a rich family and she own her own company same with her brother, we attended the same high school and I never thought of having a friend then because am not a social butterfly but things turn around and we found ourselves together​ like shelling peas.

We drove in Lucy's car, it took us few minutes to get to my work place, all thanks to Lucy she takes me to work every morning. I have been working with her brother for a year now and I needed to save money to buy a car of my own. I don't want to stress lucy anymore, she has done enough for me.

"Thanks Lucy , have a good day at work" I left the car closing the door behind me. "Bye Ella , don't miss me much" she smiled and drove off.

I love that girl what can I do without her........ HOLY SHIT am late.

I walked as fast as I could to make it to the elevator, I needed to make his coffee​ right away. That was my rude boss, Kyle​, he's arrogant, proud, scary rich man I have ever met before, working with him is like a hell to me but what can I do? No option to go with.

I greeted the receptionist, got into the elevator and press on the second to the last floor. The last floor was his penthouse which I've never stepped foot into. I got in, I made his coffee​ in a way he would love to have it, I knocked followed by the sound of his voice "come in" unfortunately he was already there before me, I do make his coffee before his arrival.

"Lateness won't do, Ms Daniela Waltz" he is sitting on his chair, he look very handsome wearing a black grey suit with a light blue tie, his muscles were visible through his suit, he got a brown hair and deep brown eyes . Okay my boss is pretty but his rudeness spoilt them all.

"Do you have an ear cockle?" What did i tell you, look what's coming from his mouth early in the morning. He was fuming now and I don't know what to say.
