24th July (Under Constructive Editing)

Chapter 11

Lying down on the couch watching my favorite movie with Lucy, my cellphone vibrated under the duvet, I picked it up and it was Jason calling and I sat up and adjusted myself on the couch.

Ella
Hey

Jason
How are you doing, sweet?

I felt my cheeks burning, jeez he just called me sweet, covering my mouth with my palm. I looked at lucy and she was making funny faces.

Ella
Am doing great and you?

Jason
Umm.. am not fine at all, just wanna see yah... so I was planning to come to your place.

I pulled back my phone stared at the screen for a moment.

Ella
Ohh..

Jason
Is that okay?

I pull my phone away from my mouth closing it with my hand. "He said he will be coming over here, is that a problem? " I asked lucy.
"Nope " she said popping the 'p' sound.

Ella
No, it's cool

Jason
You will be expecting me then, sweet.

I said 'okay' and hung up, I looked at lucy, she crossed her leg with a popcorn in her hand, smiling sheepishly at me.".... and the prince charming wishes to pay a visit to his princess, that's cute".

"Shut up" I rolled my eyes making her to laugh. She quickly stood up and walked to the kitchen.

"You ain't gonna sit down there watching , are you?, well my brother which is your boss is coming as well, you better get up and join me 'cause we are preparing diner for four"

"What?!!, why is he coming? " I yelled going close to her.

"Because, I invited him earlier on before that steaming call of yours" she smirked folding her arm to her chest. She knew my boss and I were not in good term.

"Are you kidding me? " I gasped.

"Am serious " she laughed .

Okay, now someone should kick me.

"What in the name of biscuit bone is wrong with you?!!, why are you doing this to me...the other day, you left me alone with him and now...." I said with disappointment and growled. I wish I could smack her with my fist, right now. But she's my good damn best friend.

"Sorry, Ella" she sighed with a puppy eyes.

"Just shut up, what are we preparing for diner? " I asked with a shrug.

"Spaghetti meatballs and chicken nuggets will do" she said with a big smile on her face. She's so obsessed with food.

In less than forty minutes the food were ready and we dished them out. Cool. I heard a knock on the door and we both turned, looking at each other .

We both stood there not knowing what to do.

"Go get the door" Lucy whispered looking straight at me.

"No, I can't " I walked to the sink to wash my hands and turn to see her standing , debating whether she should go or not.

"Why? " she asked, seriously can't she see what am putting on. I was on bum short and silky top.

We heard a loud knock again.

"Am half naked, Lucy go get the door please " she chuckled and nodded. I ran upstairs to my room and locked the door.
