Brandon laughed which caused akela to laugh as well. As they were talking about the pictures they've taken a couple minutes ago but they placed their phones back in the backseat again
They were both sitting down in the back of his car in the trunk while eating chick-fil-a because everything else was closing now.
"Wait how old are you?"
"18, fresh out of high school"
Akela said and he nodded
"Ahh, so are you going to college or?"
"Not for now...my doctor said its best for me to relax take sometime before going back to school cause my whole high school years were really but really bad, plus having asthma, sheesh it's a mess"
Akela said as she took another sip of her drink
"Wow, but do you know what you wanna be "when you grow up" as people say"
Brandon asked throwing a chicken nugget into his mouth
"A photographer, I find that fun"
"Hmm, ok ok. Not bad"
He said as they both nodded
"I would definitely hit you up for a photo shoot"
He said winking at her taking a sip of his drink
"Oh really"
"Mhm"
He nodded placing back down his drink
They were just looking At each other for a bit
Akela taking in the moment, enjoying every second of the day.
"So what now?"
He asked in the silence, they both were leaning in not noticing and akela smiled as Brandon licked his lips
"Umm...we can uh"
Akela tried to say as she realized what was happening and she quickly leaned back and Brandon did as well clearing his throat
"Yeah um...what time is it actually?"
He said getting off the trunk as he made his way inside the car
Gosh I'm so stupid...he probably hate me, but I wasn't going to let him kiss me. It'll just turn out awkward after and I don't that. I mean it already is- shit...
Akela thought to herself has she placed her face on to her hands
"God you're so stupid, you just embarrassed yourself trying to kiss her- god"
Brandon whispered to himself smacking his head twice before going back
"It's pretty late huh"
