Susie stared up at the school as it towered over her. She pushed open the door and walked in, footsteps echoing through the lobby halls. Nobody was in the hallways yet, so she had enough time to sneak into the supply closet at the end of the hallway. She gulped, making her way towards the closet. As she got closer and closer, the presence of the room grew larger and larger, making her shiver uncomfortably.

She finally reached the door.

Susie shifted awkwardly, not feeling right in her own plush skin. She rubbed her arms through her sleeves, feeling uneasy as the mere existence of the door loomed out to her, hauntingly enough, it made her want to keep progressing forward towards it.
She opened the door, holding her breath and quickly stepping inside.
She blinked.
It wasn't half as bad as she remembered. She was just paranoid.

Suddenly, the door, as before, shut and locked behind her, leaving her in darkness.

There was a good reason to be paranoid after all.

She flinched, looking left and right hoping she'd miraculously find a light switch that hadn't been there the last time she and Kris got trapped in the closet.
Of course, there wasn't any new light switch. Or a new way out.
Susie shuddered, remembering what would happen if she walked further into the closet.

Just walk.

She picked up her feet, dragging herself further out of her comfort zone and closer into the impending darkness that seemed to feed off her growing fear.

Keep walking.

The purple monster kept walking, only picking her pace up a bit. She just wanted it over with.

...rUN??

She sprinted, feeling as if she were randomly being chased. Susie panicked, her breaths quick and harsh as she ran.

Suddenly, the ground shook. Just as she remembered all too well. She skidded to a stop, bracing herself for the fall that came soon after.
Just as she anticipated, the papers on the ground began to break away into seeming nothingness. She backed up further, half expecting to bump into a non-existent wall.

Come on, you're a brave monster, it's not that bad...!

The falling papers came closer and closer to her feet. She quivered.

Y-Yeah... not that...-

She started falling.

"--bbAAAAAD!!" she shrieked, reaching up above her as she watched the world fade away into the darkness.

The last thing she remembered before the darkness came over her eyes was letting out a cry of fear like she'd never done before.

It was much scarier not having someone there with her. Even for a brave being like her.
Especially without Kris.
