"See? that wasn't too hard!" Kris smiled, taking Susie's hand into his and rubbing her forearm with his other.

They stood in the park they were in the other night, just the two of them together.

"I guess so... I hope it sticks with him though." she shrugged.

Kris let go of her to pull his phone out.

Suddenly, a small squeak was heard.

He glanced up from his screen to see Susie staring up at him with big eyes. Kris was only about three inches taller, but she looked so... small at this angle.

She squeaked again and reached her arms up and made little grabby hands at Kris.

He stifled a laugh, "What are you doing...?"

"Trying to be cute so you'll hug me."

"Well, it's working quite well"

He wrapped his arms around her, rubbing her back. She sighed happily in his grasp and snuggled into his chest.

Susie slowly felt herself be lifted off the ground.

"-Ah?!" she gasped suddenly as Kris picked her up bridal style. "What are you--"

Kris ignored her with a grin plastered over his face as he carried her towards a patch of flowers in the field.

He placed her in the center of the patch, placing a daisy on her head.

Susie blushed and laughed, flopping back into the soft grass, making petals fly up past her.

Kris laid beside her in the field, rolling her on top of him.

They both rolled through the grass laughing and scattering flowers everywhere.

Susie sat up, shaking the flowers off her head. "Oh, man. I'm a mess."

Kris pulled himself to his feet. "Yeah, we both are!"

He stopped and looked at himself.

"Oh. Mom isn't gonna like this."

"You can sneak in and take a shower?" Susie suggested.

"I guess so... You should head back home to shower as well" Kris said.

Susie got quiet. Kris patted her back. "You can stay with me again tonight if you'd like."

She nodded slowly, standing up.

The two walked inside the house on the hill. Toriel was nowhere to be found yet, which was a good thing for the young students.

"She must be out back watering the flowers," Kris said. He quickly led Susie up to the bathroom, closing the door behind them.

Susie looked at herself in the mirror, blinking a few times. "Wow. I really am I mess, aren't I?" she laughed jokingly.

Kris wrapped his arms around her from behind, resting his chin atop her head. "We both are, but you still look as beautiful as ever."

The purple monster sighed into his grasp, staring lovingly at him from the reflection. She smiled and wrapped herself in a hug, putting her arms over his.
