                             ...

Susie jolted awake, gasping as she quickly sat up. She looked at her surroundings, finding herself stuck in a... tree?

She blinked a few times, looking down at the ground below her.

She wiggled her way out of the branches and climbed down, landing with a light 'thump' onto the soft colored grass. Susie looked around, recognizing the area she was in. She was at the edge of the Field, just nearby Castle Town.

Susie adjusted her pants and headed off, seeing the castle standing tall in the distance.

After a bit of walking, she had arrived at The Great Door.

The large golden door was cracked, meaning someone had already gone in before her. She shrugged it off and walked through, being careful as not to move it.

She was hit with a nostalgic but happy feeling as she passed the training area where a Ralsei-shaped dummy stood and papers scattered the floor. She grinned to herself, knowing the prince would be ecstatic to see her again.

She looked up at the Castle Town. Quiet and eerie looking, yet still welcoming. She sucked in a breath and walked towards the castle. Susie stared up at the door, contemplating whether she should knock or even make an appearance at all.

She closed her eyes, making her decision.

Knock, knock, knock.

                  "H-Hello??"

A muffled voice echoed from behind the door. Susie flinched, pulling her hand back towards her chest awkwardly.
The door slowly cracked open, a little white paw slowly peeked around the corner.
With it followed a darkened figure of a small goat, hidden away under the shadow of his oversized hat and the reddish-pink scarf around his neck.
"--Wh-ah??..." the goat squinted, then suddenly recognizing who stood before him.

"S-Susie?! Is it really you??" he squeaked, flinging the door further open and grabbing her wrist surprisingly gently. His paws were soothingly soft. How nice.
She forced a smirk, putting her hand down from her chest and rested it on her hip, as not to show timidness through her body language.

"The one and only. How've ya been?".

Tears glistened in the corners of the goat's eyes, as he took off his hat to reveal himself.

The shadow now gone, and his white fur now exposed, Ralsei wrapped his arms around her in an embrace, burying his snootle into her shirt. She sighed and let him cling to her.
"I d-didn't think... you were coming back...! Oh, how I missed you!!".
"Eheh... Guess I could say the same about you." Susie replied.

"Ah... wait!", Ralsei let go, looking behind Susie. "Where's Kris?".
"Uh, about that..." the purple monster said, scratching the back of her head.
"I've got a bit of a problem. I came by myself to... possibly ask for advice about Kris...?".

"Yes, yes, that's quite alright. Do come inside! I was just making myself tea and cake, but I wouldn't mind sharing~". Ralsei pushed his round glasses up on his nose again and started walking back inside, ushering her to join him.

Susie smiled softly, following behind the short goat as he led her inside the large castle.

She laughed under her breath,

"Yeah, I never got to try your cake last time.".

The power of the fluffy boy shone within her.
