"I want to talk to someone." Adrien breathed out as Nathalie typed on her computer. The clicking of the keys stopped as her gaze fixed on him.
"Okay," she said slowly like it would scare him off or change his mind. "When would you like to schedule you an appointment?" Her fingers were still frozen from where she stopped typing like she would continue the word once the conversation was over.
"Soon." He shifted uncomfortably. "I haven't been dealing with this very well." It wasn't like he could explain how unhappy he was to her there. She seemed to understand because she nodded to herself.
"Soon," she promised. Adrien left after their short exchange. There seemed to be a weight lifted off his shoulders. He felt like he could breathe again.
He got back to his room with a sort of renewed energy. Adrien cleaned up to put a bit more order in his chaotic life and sat down to brainstorm in his mostly empty journal.
He hoped Marinette would be proud of him.
