Yesterday hung over Adrien heavily. Every time it was silent he could hear Sabine's sobs, every time he closed his eyes he could see the broken family.

Adrien mixed his instant coffee with a spoon. He hadn't been able to get any sleep. His whole body felt exhausted. Adrien was just so exhausted all the time.

"I could actually make you a real cup of coffee," His father's assistant broke the sickening quiet. He turned at her words and shrugged his shoulders.

"It's fine... but thanks." He didn't deserve real coffee. He didn't deserve anything because he was alive and Marinette wasn't.

Adrien couldn't bring himself to open her diary. It sat unopened at his desk. A haunting reminder of what he had lost.
