Awake in a fantasy (draft)

(Chapter 11)

* Kai *

My arms tingled, there was a breeze by my head. Muscles loosed in my shoulders and legs. My eyes were closed beautifully, now here's a question, where am I?

My eyes snapped open and I jolted up. Blood rushed through my veins and hair stood up at the back of my neck. The hospital, but why? Oh yeah that's right, it's been a while since I've been here. I need to look after my body and see when I wake up. Does that mean Ash and Raine have the same consequences as I do? I was sitting on my knees in the hallway outside my room. I got up and dusted the dirt off my knees as soon as a nurse passed by.

As she opened the door I slipped in behind her. My body was perfectly asleep with Isabelle at my side emotionless. She sat there like a manikin, almost lifeless. I pranced over to her twirling at the end.

"Hey Isabelle, long time no see! Have you been watching me all day? Thanks for the support, but you should really go home and rest too, you're going to get married soon, don't worry about me. I promise I'll come back in time to see you, Jacob, and your children. Oh yeah I remember, you said if it was a girl you'd name her Claire, if you had two the second one would be named Katie, right? And if it was a boy you'd name him Spencer, and if two, Kyle. You've planned everything already, yet because of me, you can't continue. Sorry that this happend."

A few knocks came from the door and a lady stepped inside. Isabelle got up and scanned the woman from head to toe with her charcoal lifeless eyes. I scanned her aswell, she looked about my age, decent. She tossed her copper brown hair to the side and parted her red candy lips. I could tell we both didn't like her attitude.

While leaning on the side of her hip she crossed her right arm across her big chest and held up her left arm with her elbow on her hand. She clacked her rosy heels towards us with a dissatisfied look.

"Hmph, uh one Jacob's friends told me to come here to check up on, um.."

Isabelle raised an eyebrow, I guess she didn't know her at all.

"Kai? Yep so Jacob want you to go home now, I'll look after her until Kai's grandpa comes here."

"Are you sure? I mean, I can wait until her grandpa gets here, you're probably busy with something, I'll stay here with her." Isabelle looked worried now, I wanted to say something, I didn't want this cocky bitch to watch over me, she'll probably just do her nails or text for the whole entire time.

"No, no, no I'll stay," She held the innocent look on her face now.

"Um, okay I'll go, but I'll come right back before the meeting hours close, thank you.."

"Oh sorry I didn't say anything earlier, just call me Yuni. Sipher's girlfriend, and you are?"

Isabelle looked down with sorrow then back up at Yuni holding it in.

"Soon to be Isabelle Hall." Yuni looked blankly into her droopy eyes and frowned. They said their good-byes and Isabelle left with her chestnut purse in one hand and her spring jacket in the other. Yuni spun around back to look at my sleeping body with the tips of her heels. Her personality changed completely.

"Hmm, so you're Kai, the one with no name? Tch, how discracefull, you don't even look that pretty,"

I knew it, I don't want someone like her to be taking care of me, but at least it gave Isabelle a chance to get some rest at home with her husband, Jacob. Something was deffianetely wrong with her, who's not pretty?

Yuni twirled a strand of my hair with her long finger then yanked it viciously. What was wrong with her- ouch. I put my hand up to my temple, and rubbed it smoothly, how did I feel that? There had to be some connection with the body and the mind. That bastard, her phone rang with a melodic tune.
