If you are not in the best state of mental health, and you feel alone, hopeless, helpless... just know that there are people who love you.

Life can be (and is) a bag of dicks. It was never made to be easy (cheesy lines I'm sorry). But you gotta live everyday like it's your last. Everyday strive to better yourself. Running away isn't always the answer when shit goes wrong in life. The answer is to better yourself and do everything to make yourself happy, then everything around you will fall into place.

Think of life like a road. There will be bumps, potholes, and damages. But you choose how you deal with it. Do you over react to a situation? Do you brush the situation off? Do you avoid it all together? Or do you take a deep breath and deal with the situation head on, full confidence and all. Fight or flight, it's the human bodies reaction.

Mental Health is something we should all bring awareness to. If you are living with mental health issues, and are actively seeking help instead of avoiding them, you are already helping yourself. Don't pity yourself, strive to make yourself better instead of waiting for someone to come along and pick you up. Pick yourself up. Better yourself.

I made this book wanting to run away. I hated life, absolutely hated it. I felt hopeless and lost. I just wanted to run away from all my problems and live freely; I soon Realized that I could live freely and deal with my mental health problems at the same time. It was baby steps. But after 5 years of dealing with depression, anxiety, and ptsd... I feel happy and free.

Good things come to those who wait, nothing will change over night. But when change does happen, you'll feel glad that you waited and didn't run away, possibly living in poverty, dealing with legal problems, drug & alcohol misuse.
