In my opinion, the best run away food that you can get would be vegan food, stuff that won't expire, like canned goods. Fruit, vegetables, carrots is a really good food to munch on if you're feeling hungry. Tofu is a good source of protein.
Don't get avocados, once they ripen you got two days to eat them, unless you somehow find a way to freeze them and preserve them.
Water would be better over getting milk or pop, because you need to stay hydrated, especially during the summer/hot days.
