I had been on a mission for the past two days and while I had been eating regularly, it wasn't really a priority. But when I got back late last night I had been so tired and sore that I decided my appetite could wait until morning. I had slept in until 2 pm and considering I didn't get in bed until 4 am I thought it was well deserved.

But now my monster of a stomach was demanding food after having not been fed for over 24 hours. And yet I faced a serious problem. There was nothing to eat. Sure there was food but it's not like I can just eat flour by the spoonful. I was facing a midlife crisis.

I looked through the fridge again. Tons of veggies, but I wanted real food right now. Tons of condiment's but I'm not really in the mood for straight mustard. 'Ughhh, nothing in here.'

"Alright, maybe I missed something in the cupboards," I muttered under my breath, getting desperate.

Rice, dried cranberries, noodles, and all kinds of canned tomatoes, beans, and corn.

"Ugh, I'm going to starve to death!!!" I cried as a slid to the floor.

"Ohh, your up!" I heard from the other side of the island and Tony's head popped up over the edge. He gave me a puzzled look, "What are you doing?"

Tony and I had been good friends for a long time. My Dad had been a very dedicated S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and had always been hard on me. Training me in war tactics, diplomacy, and obviously all kinds of martial arts. My father and I had never had a close relationship and that was where Tony and I found common ground. I had been a wingwoman for him whenever Rhodey wasn't around and our relationship had only grown since I had moved into the Avengers tower.

"I didn't eat after I got back last night and am starving but there's nothing to eat!!!" I stood up and saw that he had a chip bag in his hands. "ohhh, can I have some!?"

He looked me straight in the eye as he popped a chip in his mouth then crumpled the bag, making me realize it was empty.

"Anthony Edward Stark you are an asshole and the worst Best friend ever. Actually, I think you are so bad that we no longer are friends." I turned my nose up at him as I crossed my arms.

"Really?"

"It was your fault." I said not looking him in the eye, "but you can make it better if you give me some of your snacks."

"This was the last bag."

I knew that was a lie. Tony never ran out of snacks. Seriously, he had them stashed everywhere and yet I could never figure out where he hid them. "Liar," I said putting on my best bitch face.

"Why would you need my snacks, there's plenty of food in here. Just eat something from the cupboards or something."

"Ohh, okay. Can you pass me a spoon," I said with an overly cheerful voice. " I'm gonna go eat a can of black beans. Bye!" I turned on my heel walking back to my room to go get Jarvis to order take out for me before Tony called out.

"Okay, okay, we can go out or something, but it has to be Shwarma!"
