Overthinking is a monster that hunts your every thought;
It builds up nervousness and rises up fraught.
In your own prison you're just captured and caught;
With shouts of people to concentrate to what's just taught.Lots of thoughts entering and leaving your mind,
But they're invisible to the eye which is totally blind.
A series of betrayals, lies, and stabs from behind;
But they tell you stop, you're absolutely harmless and kind!Each and every night you just lay down in bed to overthink;
Staring at the ceiling, breathing heavily and you bearly blink.
You write down your inner thoughts with an invisible ink.
You're haunted by the monster that'll cause your mind to shrink.Problems are gradually becoming your main,
Neglecting every feeling, but the rising pain.
Overthinking is a monster you need to train,
Or all your happy memories; it'll drain.Let the gathering sky of gloominess fade,
Or else it'll keep cutting your skin with a blade.
Keeping you anxious and always afraid,
And giving your fragile soul a dark shade.Overthinking is a nasty fight you can overcome,
Because it'll affect the person you'll become.
Don't let it stick to your side like a gum,
Else it'll keep your mind heavy and numb!
