I've been silent for too long, Not knowing who am I. Never certain of where I belong; Am I destined to live or die? I keep listening to every song, And you wonder why I am shy? Turning out I was wrong, To accept your every lie. I'm still bold and strong, Even if I bend and cry.
I stayed as bold as a tree; Standing up tall and high. Dropping the thought of "you & me", And having the heart of a sky. For me, you were never free; You used to run or fly. To open my heart, you had the key, Yet you chose to say goodbye. It was something I didn't foresee, So I kept asking: when, what, and why?
The silence took over my face, But my heart was ready to scream. I tried to slower it's pace, But it was as quick as a light beam. Your promises left no trace, Because I'm convinced it was a dream. I've never left my place To join your notorious team. I've kept my personal space, And thought of you as a meme.
A/N: I'm really sorry for not updating often, but I've been really stressed. Also, I've fainted due to this stress about a week ago, but i'll try to update frequently!
